I ordered crab rangoons to go, they were the absolute WORST i’ve ever eaten, they tasted off & had nothing but crab in them, no cream cheese. I then called because i wanted a refund because i wasted $13 dollars on this and the owner argued and was so rude on the phone. Surprised this place is still open with her attitude and how disgusting the food is.

The food is good except the rice sometimes taste like cigarettes. The atmosphere is the biggest complain. It needs to be completely renovated, or at least take down everything and paint it. One weekend of renovations would help encourage me to dine in. I want it to succeed, but it's getting bad.

Now who in gods great name charges $10 for a chicken salad full of squared raccoon ankles and cabbage? Not a leafy green or cucumber in sight for $10? Gives me gas I’m so upset.

The food was really good. Since we came in so late they were out of a few food items on the menu. So don't go in just before closing.

Good food, good prices.

There's a reason this place has been around since 1993! Best Chinese food I've tried in well over a decade, great service, good variety.

Found a metal shaving in my take out food, took the metal piece back to the restaurant and the staff didn’t seem bothered. They just said it came from their Brillo scrubbing pad for their wok.

Found metal shavings in my
Child’s food. Looks like it came from a Brillo style scrubbing pad. I showed the staff and they really didn’t seem to care. They just said it looks like their metal scrubbing pad for the wok.

Well there isn't but a couple of Chinese places to eat in the entire rogue Valley. New Chans Palace is a small mom and pop restaurant. Literally I'm sure there are only 2 people who work here. It seems most people order to go. I'd say typical Chinese food. From mar far chicken to chow mien. Nothing that stands out from any other place. Locals always compare Chinese Restaurants to the best there ever was KIMS. Nothing has come close to KIMS in food quality and taste and Chans is a couple of steps behind. There is only 2 Chinese Places to eat from Shady Cove to White City and Chans is one located in Eagle Point. Everyone who has a craving for Chinese this is your best bet unless you drive into Medford and I'd say Silver Dragon across from Providence Hospital is the best. Not to much parking, it's tight especially on the weekend. No problem parking on the street. They are fast and reasonable priced. Beware if you like that pink sauce it's going to cost you. $8.00 per large cup full. Other then that I'm glad they are part of our community and I will continue to eat there about once a month when I can. Bon-apite.
