Talon Grill Restaurant

Had a California omelette this morning. Took 40 minutes to get food which was dry, overcooked and tasteless. Only one other couple in restaurant. The omelette had very little cheese in it. The orange tomatoes inside were sour. The potatoes O’Brien were overcooked and beyond crunchy-couldn’t eat half of them. Toast was burnt and cold.
Will not eat here again.
Service impeccable and beautiful place to eat.

Great lunch on the patio. Had the Ahi tuna tacos. My mom had the fish and chips. She said it was the best she ever had. Service and atmosphere was great.

Decided to try breakfast since there is a new chef. My husband had an omelette and I could tell the minute his plate was placed on the table that the eggs didn't appear to be fresh cracked eggs and looked like powdered eggs. He took one bite and said these taste fake. I had a chorizo flat bread that hid the texture of the eggs better. The service was great, english muffin, coffee and fresh fruit were great, but we're definitely not going back for breakfast.

Found this gem thanks to google maps. Came over from KF and had an hour to burn before going to VA hospital. I forgot to get a pic but I had the garden salad with shrimp. Their balsamic dressing is made in house and super delicious. Shrimp was cooked and seasoned wonderfully. My uncle had the vegetable beef soup and said it was wonderful. Love that Talon is open to the public! There’s something so incredibly peaceful being at the golf course even if not golfing. Also had excellent service. Very warm, friendly and welcoming staff! Will be back!

Amazing clam chowder and I’m a coastie. The fish and chips were also amazing. Decent wine selection, attentive service, and everyone in the party was very happy with their food selections. Great place for dinner!

It was pretty loud inside which made it hard to enjoy after a long work week. The food was mediocre compared to other restaurants, idk how you undercook French fries though. No one ever came to refill our waters because our waitress, who was also bartending, was multitasking tonight even though there were 4 other ladies serving tables. She was not too busy, however, to chase us out into the parking lot, almost to our vehicle in the dark and accuse us of dine and dashing after leaving $70 cash on the table for a $45 tab. It was offensive and we won’t be returning or recommending this place to others

It took 1 and 1/2 hours to get my hot dog! I just kept waiting to see how long it would take the waitress to figure it out

Had a lunch of a huge piece of fish, great clam chowder, French dip sandwich with au jus and a side salad. Frys could have been a little crisper especially since they were under the fish.

We stayed at the resort for a week and ate at the grill everyday. The food was great and the service was great. Chef Rosco, server Amanda & David and GM Steve made us feel like old friends. We can't wait to go back!

I ordered their fish and chips (fries) and the homemade potato chips. OUTSTANDING. Everything was perfect, not greasy! Flavorful. This restaurant has quality food. The service was also outstanding.

The food was amazing and cooked to perfection! We had steak, brussel sprouts, mushrooms and the twice baked potato along with the grilled ceaser salad. Truly delicious fare. The recent remodel focused mostly on the back of the house but the new tables and chairs were comfortable and inviting. With beautiful views of the golf course and plenty of TVs in the bar it is a great setting for a drink after golfing or for dinner watching your favorite team.
