We came in for a cup of coffee, but then we got distracted by the fresh baked bread. We bought a loaf of rye. (We had to wait a day till we had a chance to eat it at home. It was still fresh, still aromatic, and very delicious.) I tucked the loaf under my arm and moved on to the pastry counter. Here is where the struggle began -Elk Claw covered in maple frosting and shaved nuts, or Espresso Bun with its aura of cinnamon roll? The espresso bun won out, and it was worth every calorie. But we didn't stop there. We were hungry. We selected a pizza off the menu with the help of the very friendly waitress behind the register. The pizza was made to order. We got the Pesto Pie covered in fresh tomatoes, pickled artichoke hearts, and other veggie stuff. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Cold drinks were served in hammered Moscow mule cups. It was a sobering experience drinking club soda from a copper mug. Incidentally, the coffee we came in for was very good. It came from a roaster in Portland who knows what they're doing.

My husband and I were in Elkton to check out the wineries in the area and we decided to stop here for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We shared the mac and cheese and the deli sandwich. The sandwich was so good, and was made with fresh sourdough bread. The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was the perfect mix of creamy and cheesy with a crunchy parmesan topping. They had a selection of fresh baked cookies and I decided to get two of the chocolate chip macaroons to go. I’m so happy I did because they were incredible too! I definitely recommend this place and plan to eat here again in the future!

Regret coming here. Service was aggressive and rude. The food is so so, but I can’t recommend.

What a wonderful place! We had pizza (with incredibly complicated survival orders?) and pulled pork Mac and cheese. Everything was SO good. ? We sat on the patio and were joined by a friendly pup?(our choice, we were told they would put him away, but we enjoyed him.) The staff was attentive and just lovely. It was a perfect stop on our drive. We are so happy we stopped here!

Parking: Not a ton of parking, but enough for the size of the business.

Started with when we got there, the lady at the cashier with the rainbow shirt was a little rude to us when I asked that we wanted to order a pizza she of looked at me, smugly and said just sit anywhere you want. I thought okay maybe she wasn't being rude, just came off that way, but my wife noticed it also. We ordered the pizza. My wife ordered a pastrami sandwich and asked the waitress wearing the rainbow shirt. If the pastrami was any good and how it was prepared and she said I don't know I'm a vegetarian. In a very judgmental tone.. the pizza was pretty good. Probably about an 8 out of 10. The dough was a little flavorless.
The pastrami sandwich came on ultra-hard bread and for some reason came with a side of. Beef dipping broth like a French dip sandwich? ? maybe because they knew it was so hard I mean break your teeth hard.

Would I come back? I guess if I wanted that kind of pizza which was a little expensive, this place is geared toward hitting tourists on their way to the coast, local People probably don't come here.
