When you walk in it smells like fresh baked bread, so you're instantly hungry 😅 the food was great and so was the service.
My family all likes different kinds of foods and the menu was pleasantly diverse so we all were able to find something we loved.
Pizza is served after 2pm, so we will have to go back to try that!
Unfortunately we have a 2 month old and there was no changing table in the restrooms, but that's not entirely uncommon and the only downside I found....
We came in for a cup of coffee, but then we got distracted by the fresh baked bread. We bought a loaf of rye. (We had to wait a day till we had a chance to eat it at home. It was still fresh, still aromatic, and very delicious.) I tucked the loaf under my arm and moved on to the pastry counter. Here is where the struggle began -Elk Claw covered in maple frosting and shaved nuts, or Espresso Bun with its aura of cinnamon roll? The espresso bun won out, and it was worth every calorie....
My husband and I were in Elkton to check out the wineries in the area and we decided to stop here for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We shared the mac and cheese and the deli sandwich. The sandwich was so good, and was made with fresh sourdough bread. The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was the perfect mix of creamy and cheesy with a crunchy parmesan topping. They had a selection of fresh baked cookies and I decided to get two...
