My wife and me decided to go here to eat tonight. We invited our neighbor to join us. We arrived at near 5:30 there was a very short wait to get a table. We all thought that it being a steakhouse and on a Saturday that there would be more customers. There were only two tables occupied(including us) Me and my neighbor ordered Prime Rib. My wife ordered shrimp skewers. The food was ok but when it arrived to our table it was barely warm. The wait person who took our order never returned to ask how the meal was once she delivered our meal. Once we finished our meal, we had to ask the wait person for our bill. Now we know why there weren't many customers in the restaurant. The food was ok, but the service was sub par. Don't think we will make a return trip here for a meal.

Went here for first time recently. Had seen them on Facebook with these great Bloody Marys. Went on website to check their hours and look over the menu. We drove 40 minutes to get there, there were only a couple people in the bar and none in the restaurant. Took 10 to 15 minutes to get seated (we were the only people in the restaurant) apparently only one person working. Another 10 to 15 before taking our drink order which is when I was told they no longer make those bloody Mary’s because it took the cook too long and he was new and inexperienced (why are they still on the menu/website?) it is the only reason we went there. Bathrooms were disgusting both toilets clogged so couldn’t use them. It was almost comical how bad the service was. Out of four of us two of our entrées were good and two were horrible. Took two hours just to get seated order one drink and get our food. Never again. Not one redeeming quality.
menu was not a steak house as expected. food was ok?

The staff went the extra mile for my husband’s birthday, making sure to have ingredients ready for his birthday Bloody Mary which was awesome. We really appreciated the personal touch and great service. The food was delicious too including homemade biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend!

I always come here and get food to go and play lottery. We'll the gentleman working tonight told me he couldn't cash my 200.00 lottery ticket for 20 minutes. There was no one but me at the bar and the bar was very quiet ..I told him but im leaving why 20 minutes. Then he looked at me and said there are people working here . Like I was trash off the street playing poker and cashing in small change and being a nusinc..Told him his. Customer service ice skills are horrible and im gonna call his boss he laughed at me and said now you can go to wilsonville and cash that cause im not doing it .. he said and if I call his boss it won't change anything and laughed in my face..I wasn't rude I wasn't pushy .Another customer said I was not in the wrong ..
A limited lunch menu offers very good value. We had steak sandwiches with salads. Lots of meat; many greens. I had a beautiful hazy IPA draft beer to go with it. Staff was very nice but alone. The place needs some investment. The sunroom overlooking the river looks a bit tired.

So disappointing. No vegetarian options unless you like dough and fat, and even that wasn’t worth eating. Previously they offered a great bean burger but not anymore. I got the bean nachos and they were out of beans, early Sat evening! Tasted like county fair nachos with stale chips and canned orange cream on top. Beer was good and waiters friendly though crazy slow.

The food was amazing, small customization were accepted and made as requested, people are genuine, and the atmosphere was great, pricing too reasonable for the view and location, definitely will be back

I was on the road and needed to stop for a late lunch early dinner. I happen to pull over near this place and wandered in. II was on the road and needed to stop for a late lunch early dinner. I happened to pull over near this place and wandered in. I absolutely love the decor which is kind of kitschy in a cowboy theme complete with a full-blown model train track set up that you can interact with. I loved it. But I guess the highlight has to be sitting here under the atrium windows looking out on the Clackamas river ~ relaxing and gorgeous.

Understaffed on a Friday evening? I mean sure, come here if you want to wait an hour to not even be seated, atleast they got a shuffleboard. Steak is alright

I’ve given The Cazadero multiple chances, hoping it would improve, but it just hasn’t. Every time I’ve visited, they are consistently short staffed, which results in long waits for drinks and even longer waits for food. The servers and bartenders who are working do their best, but it’s obvious they are overwhelmed. On top of that, the food quality is inconsistent, sometimes good, other times poorly prepared or missing items.
Being in a small community, the owner seems to rely on the goodwill of the community but isn’t involved in fixing the issues. The employees are left working understaffed and expected to juggle too much at once, which hurts both them and the customers’ experience. It seems that ownership should be more involved and assist the staff more if staffing is such a concern. At this point, reducing operating hours or closing certain days until staffing is figured out would make far more sense than continuing to run things this way.
The bathrooms are consistently dirty and neglected, which makes me question how well the rest of the restaurant is maintained.
This place could be a great local spot, with beautiful river views but after several tries, it’s clear that nothing is changing. Without stronger management involvement and real investment in staffing and upkeep, I cannot recommend eating here.
