Gone in a few times since the new ownership.. Breakfast is good. We really like the weekend AM staff. PM staff is ok sometimes, food - not so much. I paid $18 to not eat dinner tonight. It was so bland. Chicken was dry and flavorless. Don't order the alfredo.
Quick apartment-hunting trip into Estacada, and this was our stop for a mid-afternoon meal. Great burger and a Philly that was done perfectly (asked for light onions, don't judge me). Our server was super nice, and she and everyone who passed by was friendly with our dog. Terrific meal in a cozy town.
Country Restaurant and Lounge offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly service and a menu that caters to a variety of tastes. During my visit, I tried the French toast, which was decent but not particularly outstanding. I ordered the three-slice portion, and the servings were quite large—honestly, two slices would have been plenty. While it wasn’t the best French toast I’ve ever had, it was still enjoyable.
