How do you stay in business if you’re never open? Wanted to try now for months but even during posted “open” hours like right now, 12:30PM on a Friday it’s shut down and nobody answers the phone! Lost business… SMH

A favorite experience eating out in a long time. It’s easy to miss M&D since it’s behind a gas station - don’t make the mistake of driving by again without stopping for a bite! The couple who owns it are so kind and friendly, and clearly make a great team in the kitchen.
Stopped by this food truck on a whim today. The owners were so personable and kind. They gave us a rundown of the different food they offer, and after some tough decisions we went with the tri tip sandwich and pulled pork mac bowl.
The pulled pork was super tender and so good with their homemade sauce. My husband's tri tip sandwich was awesome. We both lived in Santa Maria so we can be a bit snobby with tri tip. Instead of trying to do the same thing as every other restaurant, they do their own take on the meat. It was saucy and delicious. Not traditional, which is what we loved! And the fries were so good! I don't know what the seasoning was, but it was perfect.
Will definitely be back.

Stopped by here and the staff were so polite and learned my name and everything! Even tried their new sandwich that they were marketing, super nice, super delicious! Highly recommend, there’s a gas station if you want to buy a drink and enjoy your homemade bbq, I’ll be sure to stop by again super soon!
