If you don't have anything to do and enjoy super long waits for mediocre food then this is the place for you. At one point I asked if I had to get in line to get another beer as I sat at the bar..... this was a first and last experience for me. Skip this place
Our family has been coming to The Old Mill Saloon every few months for the last couple of years. Overall the experience is hit or miss.
The food is generally fantastic. However, on one of our earliest visits, I ordered a side of hollandaise sauce with my breakfast. It was brown and unappetizing, so I didn't eat it. Although I wasn't planning on saying anything about it, the waitress took note of my uneaten sauce, and when I explained why, she removed the charge from our bill. That kind of service alone makes the trip from Portland worthwhile.
On that note, the attentiveness of the servers varies from visit to visit. Oftentimes they are very present, but other times our group seemingly languishes for an eternity, waiting to have our orders taken. On one such visit, ours was one of three occupied tables in the entire place, making things feel a little neglected, so to speak. But these things sometimes happen anywhere, and it wouldn't give me reason to discourage anyone from coming here.
The layout of the indoor dining area leaves something to be desired. It isn't terrible, but the various prize machines that (as of this writing) line the back/side wall are a bit of an eyesore, and the three televisions playing gameshows, police procedurals, and true crime programs at every given moment feel entirely out of place for an establishment that I would otherwise describe as family friendly.
I will say one last thing about The Old Mill Saloon: The onion rings are absolutely to die for. (And I'm not even an onion ring kind of person.) They are either as good as, or better than, a regional chain that is known for their seasonal Walla Walla onion rings. Try them with the garlic mayonnaise -- you won't be sorry.

They might need a little bit more help. I think she was working hard, but couldn’t get around everybody all the time.

Elijah was great! Food was good and very filling. We had the fish tacos and the hand breaded chicken strips. Also we got the OM lemonade seemed to be a light pour of alcohol as there wasn't any apparent taste it was still good.

Great place for fresh hand battered chicken tenders and fresh lemonade. Next time if I'm through there, I'll try the burgers.
