People who work this cart are always super super friendly. Me and my partner were super impressed with the burgers our first time going, but noted in our reveiw that the fries could use more seasoning. Came back this week and got Cajun fries which were perfect :) my favorite place to get burgers

the king working the cart tonight gave me extra fries for free. 10/10 burgers. i wouldn’t mind some more interesting seasoning on the fries but the texture is extremely good. s tier.
UPDATE: they have recently added cajun fries as an option and they are very delicious so my fry seasoning critique has been remedied.

This is at The Fork food carts in Fairview, Oregon. I ordered the $9 burger, the American burger. I asked the employee to put grilled onions on it) and that I really love lettuce and tomato.) My burger was so good. Super juicy and flavorful! And the service was incredible too. so fast. Thank you Tristan 💕

I live close to The Fork so I’m here all the time, and every single time I make a beeline for Sammy’s Smash Burgers. My go-to is the bacon blue cheese burger and it is always so damn good. The only time it threw me off was one visit where the blue cheese tasted a little different—almost like they’d switched brands. I’d asked for extra and didn’t get it at first, so I went back up to the counter. The guy working that day hooked me up with the extra and reassured me it was the same cheese. He was super chill about it and that was that.
Today me and my girlfriend headed down there and I was hyped for my usual, but they were out of both bacon AND mac and cheese. Totally understandable since they must’ve gotten slammed earlier, and I wasn’t mad—just bummed. But what I’m pretty sure was the owner told me my next burger is on him. That kind of customer service from a small food cart is rare.
I recommend this place to anyone who asks where to get a great burger, and I’m gonna keep doing it. Sammy’s is always worth the trip.

Wish I knew what the burger tasted like been waiting about 15 mins now for someone to show up to the little building, open sign is on, no note, tip jar with money still out, but no personnel or food. Bazaar. It’s rarely I eat out and have been looking forward to a burger all day today because I made a little extra cash on a job. Decided on this place on the way home, whoops, won’t do that again. For goodness sakes at least put an away sign or turn the open sign off, after typing this review it’s now been 20 mins the burger shack has been unattended, wild. If it’s the owner running it, just replace it with another burger shack since they’re a dime a dozen anyway, if it’s an employee, ya need a new one cuz holy hot dogs Batman if the employee is MIA for this long then why pay them to not be there, I’d deduct a lunch period or dock pay somehow like wow

Although I had to wait a bit for my order, it may have been the best hamburger I have ever eaten. Meat was incredibly good, filling, yet not heavy. Bun was light but tasty. Tristan was fabulous and friendly in taking and preparing my order.

I have ate a lot of burgers in the Portland area and this place is in the top 3 I have ate at I had the mac & cheese burger and it had more then enough Mac & cheese on it fry’s were excellent burger patties perfect all around amazing the younger guy working can’t remember his name all I remember is it started with a t but vary nice and helpful too
