I don’t like burgers much. I’m very picky and majority of burgers I don’t enjoy lack depth in the flavor profile. These are fantastic and I would definitely eat again. Tristen is great as always. Also little to no wait. Granted he had no line at the moment and we were front in line to get our sandwich’s, but it took probably 5 minutes at most?
oh, my partner and i got the sammy special. the special sauce is fantastic. A little after this review, the ordering at this truck picked up and i’ve noticed that majority are choosing this truck. Says a lot about it.

I ended up ordering to go. I got home, ate that burger and those fries and mmm mm MMMM that burger was so good it felt like a crime to eat it. The burger was committing a crime BEING that good. Shame on Sammy, those burgers are made so damm well that you are literally FORCED to return at some point in the future and that's how addicts are born, kids. Service felt a little sluggish. I know these burgers don't take 5 seconds but the guy was distracted with a chit-chat conversation he was having with some passerby and because of that, I felt like my burgers took a bit longer. It was a good 15 minutes at least. I respect needing the time to cook it correctly but I'm confident I could've cooked those dang burgers and had them ready to serve by half the time that it took him to do the exact same thing. Efficiency, organization, structure, and good habits. The key to success is yours, don't get stuck flipping burgers for the rest of your life kid. You've got far more potential than that. Don't get reeled back in when you want to leave and they offer you a manager position and a .75 cent raise. Leave and find your calling.

I just tried the Mac & Cheese Burger from Sammy’s Smash Burgers, and I’m seriously impressed. This burger is everything comfort food should be—rich, cheesy, and indulgent in the best way possible. The smashed patty was juicy and flavorful, perfectly cooked with those crispy edges that make a smash burger special. But the real star? That creamy mac and cheese piled right on the bottom. It was the perfect balance of savory, cheesy goodness without overpowering the beef.
The bun held up surprisingly well under all that cheesy deliciousness, and the portion was generous without being over-the-top. You can tell they put thought into each ingredient. It’s not just a gimmick burger—it’s actually good. If you're craving something bold, unique, and deeply satisfying, this is a must-try.
Sammy’s is definitely on my repeat list now. Can’t wait to go back and try more!
