I had the carne asada burrito. My husband had the chili relleno. We both were very impressed by the food and equally impressed with the employees. Clean establishment, great food (large portions), great conversation a must stop! Oh and the beautiful woodwork bar top and the story behind it💖well done
Sierra Mexican Restaurant is a must-visit! I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were outstanding—perfectly seasoned, tender, and served sizzling hot. The portion size was very generous, and everything from the fresh toppings to the warm tortillas was spot on. The staff was super friendly and made sure everything was just right. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy an authentic and flavorful meal. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Best fried ice cream I've ever had! Decided to spend my layover here doing a bus charter for a kayaking group. Enchiladas were good, chips and salsa were good 👍 But I'd drive the hour and a half back here just for the fried ice cream, it was so awesome!

A restaurant in the middle of nowhere was a welcome change on our drive back. The Chile Relleno was not spectacular, but not too bad. Some of the other food was reported as a little salty.
Vegetarian options: They had a couple vegetarian burritos along with the Chile Relleno.

Walked into this place on a referral. Was skeptical based on the outdoor appearance. The inside was welcoming, modern, clean and classy. The family owned restaurant made us feel like family. Nothing but smiles and kind gestures even though we came in after they were already closed by our mistake.
Their salsa made the my husband smile and continuously say it was the best in the area, including Salem! When the food arrived promptly we were both blown away. Never had we tasted such a perfect combination of heat and spices. My plate was creamy and flavorful the way I never knew camarones a la crema could be. Even the rice and beans stood far above it's competitors. Most and firm without being dry or overly mushy.
We ended our night fairly quickly to be considerate of their time even though they insisted we not rush, but we both agreed that after 15 years, we have found our new favorite Mexican restaurant. This referral proved to not disappoint. Will definitely be back for great service, relaxing environment and phenomenal food.
