Pleasant little place that combines a gift shop with a coffee bar that serves mighty fine pastries. I think this would be a safe bet and a good stop to make.

Delicious gelato and we brought our treats outside to enjoy them while sitting on the back porch. Lovely garden and lawn area. I like the whimsical birdhouse fence and the pretty murals painted on the wall. Highly recommend! ?

We drove out of our way for "By the way" super cute and friendly place. If your looking for a little gift or to enjoy some quiet this is a great place. I had a dirty Chia with oat milk. (Hot) Oat milk heats up quicker than regular milk, not sure the owner knew that as the taste was off. I could have had him redo it, but felt super self conscious as it's a small community and we wanted to sit around with our drinks. Anyway I threw away 3/4 of it. Probably the worse chia on the trip we took. Place was nice and clean though.

By The Way Coffee is a fun little store of beach gifts and an excellent coffee with locally sourced beans. Only issue is that had is that pastries tend to sell out early, so plan accordingly.

Very pleasant. Good coffee and a great gift shop. The day we were there not that many pastries available. Very clean restroom facilities. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
Incredibly friendly staff/owners. They make you feel like family. I love it here!

Solid latte, they use a local roast. Added real honey, no fake syrup! Limited seating but atmosphere was nice, inside a gift shop. Worth checking them out!
