It was a wonderful little breakfast place. The gravy is grand and they gave us a little sample before we order any on our biscuits. The staff super friendly and attentive. My new number one for breakfast.
Very cozy
Very friendly
We all enjoyed our breakfast
Will go again for sure
Well....the lady's were so nice and attentive. But the gravy on my chicken fried steak shocked me. It did not look appealing at all and did not taste good. It was a kind of green color. I was expecting a white cream gravy. The chicken fried was not that good either. If I went there again I would try the pancakes I guess.
This is the 2nd time we've stopped here after camping in Seaside, and we love it. They have a huge overflow parking that fits our truck & trailer. They're incredibly kind with our kids. Free coffee for veterans. And their food is great! We prefer this over most of the breakfast places in seaside, and it's only a 6 minute drive
We were driving through on the way to Portland and saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. I ordered a breakfast with pancakes and my mom ordered a waffle. When our plates arrived I noticed my pancakes looked really flat. They were rubbery when I tried them. The eggs tasted like they were cooked in a dirty pan. This wasn’t a hit with us overall. I still can’t believe it cost $40. The staff are super kind and efficient. The location is clean and gives off a homey atmosphere.
Excellent diner style breakfast! It has a homey vibe and is perfect for breakfast/lunch. They even have a toy chest where your kids can pick out a toy.
Read the reviews and gave it a try. What a wonderful experience. Just like going to Grandma's house for a delicious breakfast. Grandma herself served us our food and it was GREAT. After I started the conversation, Grandma was happy to tell me about the local history. Clean and quiet place, loved the entire atmosphere. The 2 egg omelet was huge and stuffed full of crispy bacon, hot and tasty. Hash browns were golden brown, huge pieces of bacon that were crispy. Excellent sausage too. Homemade biscuits and homemade marrion berry jam. I wish I lived closer so I could eat there every day. Can't say enough good things about the place. Try it, you'll love it.
Only good thing was my extra crispy bacon and the seasoned hashbrowns! Biscuits and gravy tasted not that good and weird not to big a fan of eggs also. Restraunt needs more staff
This place in great !!!

Family establishment that embraces a Grandma’s cozy and eclectic atmosphere. The food is YUMMY home cooked American cuisine. I LOVE the biscuits and gravy but everything I’ve tasted here is very good. It is busy every time I visit, but a 15 minute wait is usually the longest wait I’ve encountered. Grandma herself, or who I assume is Grandma, seems to have eyes in the back of her head, calling out what needs to be done next to keep things moving. I appreciate this. It’s like breakfast with a show. I think I’d pay an entry fee just to watch her. All of the staff are helpful, hardworking and genuine. The price is fair, especially for the amount of food that is served.

It was so cozy and warm inside. The service was very fast and we had coffee as soon as we sat down. The light eaters menu seems like the best value because you get multiple items. Only available on weekdays.
The biscuits and gravy were incredibly delicious. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had.
Even though they were busy the service was prompt. This would be a good place for small or large groups.

Friendly place a hwy 101 just outside Gearhart going north. We've been several times, always for breakfast. The food is solid, well prepared and comes out hot. One of the few places in town that truly knows how to cook eggs to order. The staff are very friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there. Really good coffee, and gravy too. There can be a wait, so be prepared.
