Waited 20 minutes after being seated. No one helped us. So we left. That’s it. That’s the review.

Updated: decided to try breakfast here as we stayed at the hotel. Breakfast was a completely different experience. Service was right away. Food was excellent. Maybe just an off night.

Rose is good for McMenamins Net Promoter Score. Gracious and personable, highly anticipatory. She really cares. Hire more like Rose.

I had the Ragin' Cajun Ahi Soft Tacos and my wife had the Cider House Turkey Dip. Both meals tasted good. The Turkey in the sandwich was very flavorful. The gravy dip was so-so.

Grumpy old lady behind the bar called my dad and I stupid under her breath after we asked for menus, stating "this is a full service kinda place" like we were idiots. Pensioner purgatory!

Ate the brisket sandwich with Cajun spiced tots. Very good. Had a flight of their craft beers. I was not disappointed.

Great food, great service, very good pizza. Cheese doesn’t fall off! The ranch dressing is a nightmare (to stop eating!)

They said they got a lot of orders at once, but we had to wait apx 40 min for a half order of crunchy French toast, which arrived without the jam. (Also,while crunchy, it was VERY crunchy, as of it was slightly overdone? Idk) also kinda expected hot, or even warm syrup but it was less than lukewarm. Brought it up, but only really wanted the jam, they were nice enough to bring more syrup, too, but it was also not hot or even warm ?

I know it's petty stuff, but having been to a lot of Mcmemnins, and with how posh/affluent this place appeared, I expected at least the same level of service/quality or better.

Also, the soft sound of SpongeBob SquarePants cartoons coming from a few tables down did not help the ambience of the place, but that alone wouldn't have bothered me had we had a good meal.

Great atmosphere, food was ok, the service was genuinely bad. My server just vanished and never came back. Had to go ask the bartender how to pay my check.

The fish tacos were pretty great, but it's clear the side dishes of our order were finished well before the main course (fries were cold, coleslaw hot).

Service was mediocre at best, we saw our server twice, while she clearly prioritized other tables. And an insincere apology for the wait time to close our bill.

We were sat next to a very rowdy table, where a visibly drunken man loudly proclaimed the tribulations of his couple councling prior to his "first divorce". I understand that staff cannot control the clientele, but there were plenty of other open tables, my Wife and I could not even hold a quiet conversation during our long wait to be served.

All-in-all I think there are better places on the coast for dinner service.

The food was so yummy, we showed up a few minutes before lunch, and got a nice seat by the window which views part of a golf course. McMenamins spots are always gonna be my favorite with all the fun artwork and scavenger hunts they offer. I bought a lemon raspberry cider to enjoy on the walk, very delicious.

The specialty appetizer menu was amazing. The clam chowder and steamer clams made this one of our favorite McMenamins for food so far.
