Entrees slightly better than average. The salmon was overcooked. Excellent high quality desserts. Mediocre setting. Dirty windows, Seems old and needs updating. Wonderful service.

The food was honestly some of the worst we've ever had anywhere. It was unbelievable disappointing. Our server was really nice and took the entrees off the bill but the over all experience was just disappointing

Our server was the best part of this experience. Everything else, especially the food, was subpar. For reference, we ordered the fettuccine and steak dishes and both were underwhelming for flavor, presentation, and overall dish quality.

Our server was so busy talking to her friends at the bar, she couldn't be bothered to serve us our food while it was still hot. My $59 ribs steak was lukewarm when she finally broke away from her friends to serve us. Salishan Coastal Lodge would do itself a favor and bring back the previous restaurant that was there 2 years ago because The Attic is a waste of valuable space. I doubt we'll stay at Salishan again.

Ate at the Attic our first night staying at Salishan lodge. I ordered the coastal fish dinner which arrived after other tables were served before us. Dish was cold and bland. My husband ordered the chicken which he couldn't cut, it was so dry. Very small chicken quarter breast with wing. Service was slow, had to always look for our server. So many other great places to eat. We ate at the Side Door Cafe the next 2 nights ... amazing food!

Great service!! Old school vibe with good food and drinks. This time we just had the flourless chocolate torte and a mocktail. The Gleneden mocktail was the best!

It has never been crowded - very good place to relax and chill. Golf not needed.

Nice restuarant for a special anniversary dinner. Service was very good. The food overall was okay but slow coming out of the kitchen. Dessert took so long, they gave it to us for waiting! The salmon was over cooked and salty and the steak was overdone.

Opentable Diner

Felt so bad for the sweet serving staff having to deal with poor management. The restaurant menu was very limited and they were out of several options for a 7 pm reservation. It only got busier after we were seated and can't imagine what the remaining guests could order. Also we ordered clam chowder which was 1 of 3 soups offered. After 15 minutes of waiting were told it would take an hour to cook since it was still frozen. Again poor management and planning. Either close on Mondays after a busy weekend to restock or ensure you are ready for the week.

We are staying at the lodge for a few days. On our first night, we went to the Attic for dinner, sat outside, had a lovely meal and a couple drinks.

We were impressed enough to come back the second night and ordered the same things.

It was a totally different experience. I had ordered the scallops the night before and the tender loin. The scallops were served to me cold. The day before, they were nice and hot. The tender loin was served to me cold, and over cooked. I'd asked for rare, which they did a marvelous job of the night before and received nearly well done.

When spending well over $100 for a meal, having it show up hot is the least one can expect.

The waiter was inattentive, despite the fact that they were not terribly busy. The service was significantly slower. They never brought us water after taking our empty, we had to go to the bar to get it. Even after taking my steak back and making another, it was still overcooked. I ate it anyway. At least it was hot the second time around. The whole dining experience took two hours. We showed up at 7pm knowing exactly what we wanted and left shortly after 9pm. While it was pleasant in the outdoor seating while the sun was up, it quickly became cold after it set. The overall second experience was enough to completely ruin the first. We will not be coming back for our last night, we will look for something else

Restaurant very nice. Service good. However food is bland lacking flavor even the chef salad dressing. Clam chowder loaded with potato's and flour but not a lot of clams. Fettuccine was luke warm and should have asked to have it heated. It did have much taste. They need to step up in food taste and quality.

The ambiance was was wonderful and the service was fabulous. The food was so over salted that I could not eat it. The fillet of beef was over cooked. The winewas great. The napkins were wrinkled as well as the bed sheets. It was a mixed bag

Service was extremely slow. Food was equal to a cafeteria. Worst experience in years.

Many thanks to Anna and her service. We were celebrating my mom's birthday. She anticipated every need. The food was fresh, and well prepared. Thank you so much!

Would not recommend. Slow service with poor management staff. Booked a later dinner after golf and we couldn't have been more disappointed. We ordered dinner within 15 minutes of arriving as it was 8:30 p.m. We received our scallops and bowl of clam chowder 30 minutes later. At 9:15 our server asked if we wanted another drink with no indication or apology about the lengthy wait. Asking to see the manger she finally made it 10 minutes later. (We were 1 of 5 tables in the restaurant) We were on our way out when the manager came by to say they're plating our food now. Nearly a full hour after ordering, they were plating 3 plates with medium rare steakes. We paid for our drinks as they were happy to take our money minus the $180s in stakes we had ordered. First time I've left a restaurant hungry. And at 9:30 pm on the Oregon Coast, nothing else is open. Great job Salishan Attic, huge disappointment.

For the price of the food you should expect a lot more, and that includes service. It took a half hour for us to even get our order in (with a dead restaurant) and that only happened because I called the waitress.

We ordered crab cakes to start which were very okay. Bland but well cooked. The main course we got the ribeye. The server took my plate from the appetizers away and never gave me utensils back. I tried to get their attention but they weren't listening so I got up and asked myself.

The ribeye came soaked in this absolutely tasteless brown sauce. I can only assume it's only purpose was to cover up the fact that the steak was a nice shade of grey with not a sear mark to be seen. The broccolini was extremely undercooked and was hard to cut on some pieces. Why not cook a proper steak and offer a nice peppercorn sauce on the side. There's no reason for my steak to arrive lukewarm and wet.

The potatoes were very okay. Nice and crunchy outside but again, bland with no seasoning whatsoever. Some garlic, salt and pepper with some smoked paprika might have turned them into something tasty.

For 170$ bill, this restaurant should be a well oiled machine. Especially being attached to such a beautiful hotel. Please get the chef and staff some training.
