Amazing!!! It says something if you remember a restaurant by name 2 years after your initial visit. A Gold Beach trip is not complete until you've been to Anna's. If you are a foodie and/or wine drinker you will be in heaven.

This is a true gem of a dining experience. With only room for 14 or so guests reservations are a must but you will be handsomely rewarded for your meager effort. The menu is small but hits everything one could want, the chef and assistant are salty (in the best way) so don't show up expecting a white glove type of meal (instead, enjoy the honesty of your hosts and take in the totality of the experience), the food is cooked perfectly and to the amount of doneness required of the dish so don't ask for well-done because that is wrong, the wine offerings are on point, the house cured meats and cheeses are superb, the handcrafted ice cream wonderful. If you love great food, eat at Anna's by the sea

Best steak we've ever had. It's a lovely small place perfect for a special night out. Make a reservation and enjoy the lovely people, quiet space and decadent food.

DELICOUS!! Got the veal it was very good and super juicy. Also the first time anywhere I’ve ever gotten beets and liked them. I was most impressed by the cheeses I absolutely LOVED it. And the chef was really handsome

One of the most amazing meals I have had in the entirety of my life! I would drink the truffle butter that was on my ribeye, and walk a mile through broken glass for more of that camembert!

Anna's was a surprise find. Reviews mentioned duck and lamb. We had to go.We chose to share the rack of lamb, tomato soup and cheese appetizer.Incredible. The lamb was amazing. It fell off the bone. Tomato soup was perfect on a rainy night. The slight smoky flavor was warming. Peter makes the cheeses as well as being chef. It was an experience. If you like Michelin restaurants and quality Anna's has it.

First time visitors to Gold Beach, wanted tor try something quaint, small, and unique for our valentines day weekend trip. Excellent food simply prepared and delicious. Had fun talking with Chef Peter while he made our meal. Great wine selection and amazing homemade ice cream. really cool place, would definitely go there again when we are in town.

We try to visit this part of the coast at least once a year and Annas is a must when we come. This time we LOVED the home made cheese plate, garden fresh salad, and fresh from the sea scallops lightly seasoned over pearl pasta. Peter is very engaging, although he can be a little cantankerous when he wants to be. He works the kitchen, set up right beside most tables, and always finds time to visit with his guests. He takes obvious pleasure when you enjoy your meal. He also enjoys sharing his wine knowledge. Anna's is a can't miss. Be careful, the place is small and he does run out of popular choices many nights.

Love this place!! Been here before. We always make it a point to go when in Gold Beach. Peter is a very engaging chef and a connoisseur of great wines. His wife, Elisa is a delight and rounds out the experience nicely. Peter's meals are just awesome. If you are looking for a stuffy high brow kind of experience... don't go. If you want an amazing meal in a relaxed and open setting this is your place.

Another awesome night at Anna's by the Sea. We try to come every year on our anniversary. We live in Depoe Bay and have a big family and stressful jobs so were not able to come last year. What a nice surprise to meet Elissa, Peter's new bride. She is a peach and sassy. Keeps Peter on his toes. Good to see him so happy. I had the scallop dinner and randy had the ribeye. They were both awesome. Started with the cheese sampler plate which is a combination of Peter's handmade cheeses. Ended up buying a full round of each cheese to take home. We always let Peter pick the wines with our meal and we are never disappointed. Ended the meal with Peter's homemade Grand Marnier ice cream. Oh...my...God...? Can't wait to come back next year. Great food, great wine and great company. ?

Good food in a place a little of the path, from a grumpy man

The quaint yet elevated atmosphere is perfect. The owners are friendly, inviting and comical. The house made cheese platter is incredible! Trust me try the cheese platter! The recommendations of wine pairings is excellent, the food even more. There's a level of quality and craftsmanship that is almost forgotten. We enjoyed everything from the personal carpentry to the personal and intimate interaction with the owners. This is our 1st anniversary, the first time visiting and we will most certainly be back. Worth every penny and more!
