I am reviewing the beer. I am a certified beer judge with over 20 years of experience. I owned my own brewery, where I won a GABF gold medal.

This is well made beer. Their products are to style, but the best of the styles.

Their Porter, for example, comes in as an excellent example of the style, all the while maintaining a high level of drinkability and smoothness that are historic hallmarks of the style but often missed due to overuse of Carmel malt or Chocolate malt or Brown malt which create a color of the style, but lead to harshness and undesirable characteristics, that at best are aged out. There is none of that here. This is expertly made porter, highly drinkable and desirable.

Their lager has signature malt characteristics from European roots of lagers like Pilsn and Southern Germany. It is well balanced and smooth, as it should be. It is a craft lager, worthy of its price point and will provide you with an excellent experience, unless you are into bland, poorly fermented domestic macrobeer. If you are…this will be a taste experience for you.

Their Pale Ale is an outstanding example of American Pale Ale. It is hoppy and malty and highly drinkable. That is the hallmark of the style. They nail it.

Buy this beer despite the price point; you can buy the other stuff later, it isn’t going anywhere. This brewery does not have economies of scale, but they are making, with each beer, the bomb for the style. They have great water to work with and they are experts at making craft beer. Based on my experience in the field, I would say they are sparing no expense on ingredients and that is worth exploring.

Lisa was a sweetheart and gave us an overview of the brewery. The beers we tasted were delicious! It is a small tasting room with beers brewed and canned on site. The bar/grill next door has beer on tap as well. Must stop and see! Good prices on growler and crowlers as well

Great beer and great people!This is not a brew pub or a full sit down bar, the area available to taste beer and have a glass is about 30sq ft and more than 4 people will feel crammed.It’s a wonderful place to taste the beers that Arch Rock has and to pickup some beers to go and merch!The beer hands down is some of the best around and extremely fresh!

A friend stopped off and grabbed a couple of 4-packs…. Dang oh dang oh dang! Wish it was available up in the north part of the state!
