Double D's Cafe

The food was amazing and the service was just as good. Super cute little place, the ornaments hanging from the ceiling were a nice touch for the holidays. Will go back every time we’re in town!

Very nice place with Christmas decorations stapled to the ceiling! I had the teriyaki burger, which was delicious. Plenty of fries! Excellent service! Will come again!

The perfect breakfast/lunch stop on a roadtrip, they do all the classics just right. I’m not a huge French toast fan but theirs was excellent! So was the breakfast burrito (it’s huge). Double D’s gets the job done!

Just got back from a long road trip my wife and I were talking about the different restaurants we ate at. Double D’s stood out for breakfast. Everything was fresh and arrived as we ordered. My wife ordered the French toast she mentioned it was one of the best she’s had and it was hot off the griddle. The hash browns were really good and the polish sausage was very tasty .It was busy and the waitress handled the whole dining room with a smile and kept the coffee cup full. The decor was awesome loved the Americana theme felt very welcome there. We definitely will stop in for breakfast again on our next trip down the Oregon coast

I got a recommendation for Double D's Cafe from the front desk of my motel. I wish I hadn't asked. The food was truly terrible. I got the "Biscuit Plus". The biscuit was passable, but the gravy was tasteless with no sausage to be found. There was supposed to be cheese on the biscuit, too, but I think they just waved the cheese around and mostly missed my plate altogether. The scrambled eggs were supposed to be "soft scrambled" but had the texture of a pot holder. The hash browns (were they somehow trying for home fries?) tasted like old cooking oil. Service was far from welcoming. The gentleman that took me to my table (I was by myself) seemed put out that he had to used a whole table for a single customer. The server that took my order was just plain grumpy. They refilled my water, slapped the check down with my breakfast, and that was the last I saw of them. I'll be going back to Gold Beach, but I will definitely not be going back to Double D's Cafe.

I got lucky and stumbled upon this eatery and stopped for breakfast. Good coffee, a yummy veggie omelet and fast friendly service all for around $20!
