Hunter Creek Bar & Grill

It was dinner time and we were in Gold Beach. We googled to find local restaurants and chose this place even though it's a bit off the beaten path. We were seated immediately, our waitress was very attentive, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. I will go back if I'm in the area again.

This place is super popular with locals. If you show up about lunch time, you'll find the place packed. Packed with people of all ages, except children, of course. Everyone is super nice, and there's a lot of laughter with good times being shared. All this is shared with good food and good drink. What's better than that?

This was a bit out of town, but we went looking for a good burger and they did not didappoint.disappoint. The burger was good excellent, juicy and hot. The fries were unique like a disc but curled. The drinks were great and not watered down like some bars. It was quite busy and seemed staff was short. The crowd was interesting and seemed to be mostly locals but nice. Made you feel right at home. A bit busy for liking but a good burger made it worth it.

Taco Tuesday we had one of each taco starting at $1.25 up to $6. Food was ok basic pub food. The patio backed to the creek but was a smokers patio so not good. Margaritas are ok nothing good nothing bad tasted like costco mix

The best kind of dive bar. Great food. Friendly service. Inexpensive beer. One of the best Reubens I’ve had in years. Served on dark pumpernickel with a homemade horseradish sauce. It was delicious.

From the outside, this place doesn’t look like much, but it’s definitely one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of spots. But wow, what a surprise! As soon as we walked in, the vibe totally changed. Super welcoming, laid-back, and just the right amount of quirky charm.

I had the fish tacos and they were phenomenal perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. My boyfriend had the French dip, and he hasn’t stopped talking about it since. The au jus was rich and delicious, and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender.

Service was top-notch. It friendly, fast, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing.

The real surprise was the outdoor smoking section. It overlooks a quiet little creek that’s home to ducks and all sorts of wildlife. It felt like stumbling into a secret nature spot, and it gave the whole experience this unexpectedly peaceful touch.

Highly recommend if you’re into great food, chill atmosphere, and discovering places that fly under the radar. We’ll definitely be back!

Rudest waitresses i have ever experienced, drunk hollering along with the bar, everything takes forever. Was in there for over an hour just trying to get a burger. Been in there twice 2 different waitresses both extremely rude, slow, and obnoxious.
