My friend and I stopped in after the cafe was recommended by another local business. We were seated and ordered water, coffee, and our meals at the same time. The restaurant didn’t appear especially busy, and we watched tables around us turn over while we waited. After more than an hour, we still had not received our food. During that time, no one checked on us, no updates were given about a delay, and our water and coffee were never refilled. We eventually ran out of both. Because we were on a schedule and trying to go hiking before losing daylight, I went to the front desk and asked if I could pay for our meal so we could leave. The employee seemed confused, noted there was no ticket started, and told me not to worry about it and that the order would be canceled. At that point, we still had not received any food. After leaving and walking across the street to our car, getting oit a camp stove and cooking, a woman from the restaurant came out and confronted us, saying we “couldn’t just leave” because our food was supposedly ready. I explained that we had waited over an hour with no communication and that I had already spoken with the front desk. I offered again to pay for the entire ticket, including the food and coffee, in cash on the spot. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, and the interaction felt confrontational rather than professional. I understand that kitchens can get backed up, but basic communication matters. A simple check-in, refill, or explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can’t recommend dining here.
Abundant portions, good food! Very accommodating to customizing orders. Happy place! I would definitely go back!

Brittany the Server was rude wouldn't listen and walked away never coming here again over cooked food and missing the main ingredient to a dish. This place ain't even worth it don't go.
Disrespectful. She should never be allowed to work in customer service again. Never again will any of my family go here again. We hope she has the day she deserves.

Most solid breakfast place on the southern Oregon coast. Great food and service. Neat old building that houses the cafe.

This place was perfectly cozy and exactly what we were looking for on a windy Friday morning. A nice rustic spot along the creek with classic breakfast food - we devoured our waffles (*drool*). Our server was super sweet and always had coffee flowing.

Loved the rustic cabin look and feel. We was greeted immediatly and seated. The food and service was prompt. The prices were extremly fair for the amount of food you are served. Most places give you 2-2-2 (eggs, bacon, or sausage) here you get 4 bacon, or sausage standard with your 2 eggs. Loved it will return for sure.

I'm from the East Coast, so the food might be a little different. They're located near a lot of tourist areas, so pricing was a little higher than expected.
I was too hungry to wait and take a quick photo as I immediately scarfed it down.
I ordered one of the egg combo's with corned beef hash, and it had a few options to pick from and I ultimately settled on some lil' pancakes and hasbrowns, and ordered a side of 'fried grits.'
The food was very yummy and filling. The corned beef hash was cooked in a thick circular patty with a crispy outside and more of a chewy pinkish-brown inside. (Personally I like my corned beef hash crispy all around, but I'm an oddball with my food at times.)
The eggs and hashbrown were your typical diner style and pretty yummy.
The fried grits was interesting, because it also came in a brick-like patty shape. Nice and crispy on the outside, bit more chewy on the in, and as the name suggest, had a bit of grit to it.
The atmosphere depends on your personal preference. It had the ambience of a roadside diner, lotsa folks coming in and out, so it seems to get noisy at times. They do have a lot of local art featured on the wall that you could even purchase, and it did liven up the space. Lotsa stylized funky little animal paintings.
The service was nice, Tasha was very polite, friendly, attentive and seemed to know the exact moment to swing by and check up on us.
Ultimately, it was a good experience. The food is deceptively filling and almost put me in a food coma, but I wish the portions were just a little bit bigger for the money. It was around $20 per person.
They had a lot of yummy options on the menu, including breakfast and lunch. I gotta try the chicken fried steak next time!
I give it a 4.4 out of 5!

Been twice. Food was ok, just average. Second time, couldn't get seated, told to wait for our third person even though the restaurant was 80 % empty. Very rude, not even pleasant or apologetic. Left and found Double D Cafe, wonderful breakfast, wonderful staff, a very happy place. Will be our go to after this even though we stay next door to Indian Creek Cafe.

This was our second visit to Indian Creek Cafe. We were staying next door at Rogue River Landing both times, and had breakfast at Indian Creek Cafe because we had heard great things from friends. On our first visit a few months ago, we had an enjoyable experience. This time however, we were treated by the staff poorly. We were expecting a friend to join us, making a party of three, and were told that we couldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. Despite the restaurant being only a quarter, or at best one third full, they were insistent. When I questioned the policy, a customer nearby started laughing. We both felt unwelcome, and decided to go elsewhere where we wouldn't feel guilty taking up space. We went to Double Ds right down the street and had a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Great service too! From now on, we'll recommend Double D's instead of Indian Creek.

Delicious food. The staff is happy and their service is impeccable. We love their breakfasts. Sometimes we stop there just to get a yummy hot chocolate and great decaf coffee. They do close early. They always seem to be busy.

Nice place for a simple American breakfast with a nicely added touch of healthy options. Love the buckwheat pancakes. And welcoming service.
