My family and I went here last night for dinner and were so impressed with our meals. All the appetizers and main entrees were delicious and the staff was very friendly and kind. Al (the owner) came out and talked with us for 15-20 minutes about his life, the food and made us feel so welcomed. He was so down to earth and extremely friendly. He puts so much hard work and love into his food and it is very apparent he loves what he does. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!! Thank you again!

The service was AWFUL! we ordered an appetizer that never showed up, hummus that came with no pita, and a lamp plate. While the lamb was good it didn't make up for everything else unfortunately

We had a wonderful dinner at Al's. Everything from the ambience, service to unique and delicious food was phenomenal. We had vegetarians with us and there are lots of wonderful options. The warm lamb hummus was incredible and something I have never tried. Also loved the very unique baba ganoush, so fresh, flavorful and beautiful presentation. They are very attentive and pay close attention to quality and details I can tell. Thank you for a wonderful meal. I can't wait to come back and sit at your outdoor patio this summer!

I absolutely adore this place! Been 3 times in just 2 weeks and every time the food is 10/10. Highly recommend the babaganoush, warm lamb hummus, and falafel plate. Honestly one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the whole rogue valley!

Now Jacksonville has a Mediterranean restaurant. With two Mexican restaurants, a couple (sort-of) Italian restaurants and a sushi restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant is a perfect addition.

Al’s Mediterranean is run by Al himself and I hope he’s training some kitchen staff so he won’t “burn out”. He’s there a lot and prepares most of the dishes himself.

The Lamb is excellent, so is the warm hummus and of course the very fresh Mediterranean salads.

They serve traditionally prepared Turkish tea and Coffee. Very nice to enjoy while you’re waiting for your food.

Baklava is delicious although we are usually full from dinner and take an order home to enjoy the next day.

Cute little spot to enjoy the most amazing Mediterranean food. You can tell they really care about the food they are serving, lots of love and attention to detail go into it. We ordered both the lamb and chicken gyro with a side order of cold hummus and can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. You absolutely won’t be disappointed stopping at Al’s, also try the Turkish tea because it’s wonderful as well.
