Great food, a cool old-school atmosphere, many lottery machines, and an ATM to keep the fun going. I recommend trying the General Tso's chicken and supporting local :)

Ordered Marfar chicken, sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, prawns, and chicken low mein. Worst food I've ever gotten. Pink sauce is not typical pink sauce, it taste like ketchup mixed with something...not sure what but it's horrible. Fried rice was barely fried if at all. The chicken taste like it's been sitting a long time, or it was fried in old oil. Ordered soup and when I got home I realized I didn't get soup, apparently you need to bring your own container for soup. I would give 0 stars but I had to give one. Literally everything ordered was trash food.

Someone of the worse Chinese food. It’s as if my 12 year old made it in my grandmothers English kitchen. Very strange Chinese food.

Mediocre Chinese restaurant, slightly dated. Good service is quick, egg drop soup is good and very hot.

My husband and our 2 kids moved to southern Oregon in 1997. Coming from the Bay Area I scouted out Chinese food in Grants Pass. China Hut was the only full serve restaurant in GP. Panda Express didn’t exist back then.Which isn’t saying much. If you are a truly Chinese food fan you know what I mean.Anyway fast forward to today. I was in GP and decided to do carry out from China Hut. UGG The absolute worst food I have ever eaten. No hot mustard? Sweet and sour sauce was terrible. We have lived in the Jackson county area and I discovered the Silver Dragon Restaurant about 15 years ago. The absolute best Chinese food in Southern Oregon.I have no dog in the fight I just want to give you former California Newbie’s a real review! On a lighter note Please don’t drive like you did in California we like the slow pace. After all isn’t that why you moved here? If not please be polite anyway we like our slow pace

Ok, so we have been eating and ordering take out from here for 30 plus years. I am so sad to say that for the last year or so we have been very disappointed but keep giving it the benefit of the dought. Were done. We order family style for three. We received pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, mar far chicken, fried shrimp and chow main with ofcourse extra pink sauce. The pork and chicken are yet again very dry and the pink sauce wich I dip in is, WELL, awful. I used to LOVE the pink sauce. The rice and shrimp are just ok and the chow main is far from great. As a whole from a customer that has been eating here for over 30 years I will not be back. Miss the good Chinese food as the Hong Kong is no better. Please, someone open a good Chinese restaurant in Grants Pass that I'm not afraid will make me sick and has good food.

Geez, I hate to write low reviews. Check out my profile and you'll see that. Having just moved to Grants Pass, I asked a lifetime local for a recommendation of a Chinese restaurant. He told me to go to China Hut. So I did. The food was, in a word, barely edible. I ordered a combination. The Mar Far chicken was way overcooked. Was like a brick. The rice was very poor in quality and extremely dry. The Mar Far sauce was a joke. The pork chow mein tasted like days old leftovers. Mind you having moved from the Oregon coast, where Chinese food can be spotty at best (save for Chen's family dish in Florence) this was barely edible. I DO NOT recommentd this place at all.

Their Singapore rice noodles are the bomb! They've gone up a lot in price but they still serve enough food for me for three meals in one. ❤️

I researched china hut Grants Pass Oregon, online and found significantly different pricing. Upon arrival, I was presented with a paper menu featuring higher prices. If online prices are not honored, it would be best to update them across all! Platforms.
The only satisfactory dish was the shrimp fried rice. Unfortunately, the Szechuan Pork, Mar Far Chicken, and Fried Wonton Were Subpar. I do not recommend this place.
