$4.29 for coffee? $44.00 for 2 people to eat a mid breakfast? Wild.
Thanksgiving dinner was the worst food I have ever had, processed sliced turkey. Dressing was dry crumbs, the vegetables were not tender. Mashed potatoes were good. That was all and at $18.99, I didn’t eat it, took it home to my dog, and he wouldn’t eat it. Ruined Thanksgiving completely was so disappointing. My partner says in all his years of eating, that was the worst meal he had ever had.
I went in for a country style steak dinner. I ordered a large steak. The steak seemed twice as large as what the menu said and was utterly delicious. I left very happy. The food is good. The manager came around to talk to the customers and overall this was a happy experience. Restaurants are still rebounding from covid if they did not shut down entirely and this restaurant is succeeding very well. They've hired more staff and are providing great service. Other customers seemed happy as well and I had a chat with a local man who had some interesting stories to tell.

Not fine dining, but a fine place to eat. I always stop at a few Elmer's when in Oregon. Good bisquits and gravy. A much better Dennys (is that saying much anymore?) with always friendly staff. Their core demographic is older; lots of grey hair coming and going through the customer entrance.
If I owned this chain, I would be worried hard about the lack of younger customers
I'm talking about less than 45 years of age.

Our server was probably the best I've ever had at Elmer's. I have been a faithful patron since 1970's. Food is consistently delicious

Our large family was all together in town and decided to go to an early dinner (4pm). We chose this time because we figured it would be less busy and easier for a restaurant to seat our party of 19 (7 adults, the rest children). We originally started at a restaurant across town because it was closer. They didn't want to seat us even though they weren't busy. They told us it was inconvenient to bring a large party to a restaurant. We were surprised by this reaction from a restaurant manager of a place that was so slow.
I told them that I would take our party elsewhere. I stepped outside and called Elmer's. The lovely young woman who answered (I assume was the manager) was happy to seat us. We arrived 5 minutes later and she was arranging an area for us. Lisa was our server. Our service was exceptional and our over experience was wonderful. In this economy we are seeing restaurants in our town close weekly. I cannot imagine turning away customers. We will definitely bring our business back to Elmer's.

We had a great breakfast/lunch. Our waitress was Natalie and she was fantastic. Probably the best service I’ve ever received at any restaurant in grants pass.
Read the reviews and thought this place sounded good. Sadly that was not our experience. It was nearly empty when we arrived. Asked if we wanted a table or a booth. He took us to the only dirty booth we could see. He grabbed a rag and swept food items, left on the table, onto the floor. He then placed the menus on the damp table. We had to walk thru the food items he just brushed on to the floor. We were stunned. He came back to take our order. I asked about the soup of the day. He said it was tomato Parmesan and he said it was very good. My husband ordered the French toast. The waiter immediately brought me a bowl of soup not even waiting for my husbands meal to be ready. The soup did not look like tomato Parmesan but it wasn’t that light at our table. It was clam chowder that was barely warm. A female waitress passing by apologized when we pointed this out and took the clam chowder away and immediately brought the tomato Parmesan soup. It too was just barely warm. No cutlery on the table so my husband asked for some. He brought him some but not me. So I also had no napkin. My husband said his French Toast was ok but not great. Huge disappointment. Waited at the desk to pay for about 5 minutes before anyone came to take the money. Would not recommend
