Unfortunately they ran out of crab so I didn't get any in it but they added a lot of extra shrimp. Oh, so yummy. 😋😋😋

we can’t decide if the best part was the fish tacos, the atmosphere, the caldera root beer, or our server, who was very sweet and on top of things. we loved this place and will be back again

Great place to grab a meal, share appetizers, and try one of the many rotating beers or cider on tap. Our server was excellent, quick to refill our drinks and ensure our food was delicious. I had the Captains Clam basket, best clam stripe-large and crispy with tender clams in an ale battered crust. Try the Boston clam chowder, it is authentic and very flavorful! My hubby had the Jambalaya in a bread bowl, very spicy and full of chicken, shrimp, and sausage plus tender vegetables. Glad we made the trip into town to try this excellent restaurant.

Always a MUST DO on our list when we come to Grants Pass! The food is amazing (BLT w/crab), the staff are always friendly and fun, atmosphere is boisterous and hoppin' and, weather permitting, there's outdoor seating with dog bowl at hand. We look forward to a meal at The Laughing Clam every time we're back home.

Went for the first time with a friend, I ordered a combo with prawns and chicken strips with two different batter. Some fries and coleslaw on the side and the food was very tasty. Service and atmosphere was excellent.
Food was alright, bit pricy for what you get. Service… was super slow. Took 15 minutes just for drinks, they seemed super stressed and understaffed. It was loud but we were still able to talk.

Fish and chips are the BEST around. Last time we went fish was very oily and chips were undercooked sent them back and they came out the same, no thanks, won't be back.

My friend and I went to the Laughing Clam on Nov. 8, 2024. I felt rushed as soon as i was seated. I explained to the waitress that my friend would be there in a few minutes. She was running about five minutes late. Then, the waitress never came back. She made us flag her down to take our drink order. She took my friends order for her drink and turned around to leave. I had to stop her and tell her I'd like to order a drink too. She had an attitude, like she hated her job. My friend had a beer and I had a margarita, which was horrible. It tasted like water mixed with tequila. Once our food came, it was delivered by the bartender, which he just put it down and walked away. Both our dinners were overcooked and literally taste horrible. We only took a few bites and couldn't stomach anymore. I had 2 sips from my cocktail and left the whole drink sitting there. I did not realize she did not like her meal either. Not until we got outside, and I told her I felt the same. We definitely will not be back.
