We loved our food! It was so comforting and delicious! The customer service was wonderful as well, they let us try a sample of the soup they had on special and they were so friendly to our kids. Highly recommend!

If you had to pick one restaurant in Grants Pass to eat at this is your place. The food is so good it will literally add 1 year to your life. Awesome service, great prices, and large portions! I had 1/2 braised beef/braised chicken, white/yellow rice, red beans, and a side of fried sweet plantains.

This amazing husband/ wife duo bring a piece of the Caribbean to Southern Oregon. Their passion for the culture and cuisine of the Dominican Republic is evident as walk into the restaurant and are instantly transported to the Caribbean. I had their signature sweet plantain sandwich (the Mas Que Chimi). It was divine! I will have to go back and try their Chicken, Rice, Beans...a Caribbean staple. They also have a series of fresh smoothies and drinks (i hear the limeade is to die-for).

Yummy, authentic food, great service!
I love the empanadas, and the pork MQC. It's kind of like a sandwich, using plantain instead of bread.
My wife loves the salmon with pineapple mango coconut sauce!
We now stop here any time we're driving through :-)
The owners really put their heart, soul, and tons of work into their food, and it shows.
I buy enough empanadas to have some the next day, but piping hot, they're delish!

So so so so delicious! Flavorful, fresh, everything homemade, empanadas made to order, I could go on for days about how incredible this place is. The owners are so welcoming and happy to explain anything on the menu to someone who might be trying Dominican food for the first time. We ordered from door dash the first time we decided to try it out. The Maduros and Queso Frito are the perfect bites to start with, my husband had the Carne Guisada with pinto beans & yellow rice, and I decided to try their Pernil with white rice and black beans. Both were AMAZING! Their pork is very well seasoned, the beans were tender, and even the white rice had savory buttery flavor to it. My husbands meal was even better than mine. Today we dined in with my mom and kids, and I decided to try the guava and cheese empanada for dessert (the only thing we didn’t get the first time) and to absolutely no surprise, it was incredible as well.
My family and I are definitely going to be regulars here. On a weekly basis, even. It’s THAT good.
Kid-friendliness: The owner was very sweet to my kids, gave them extra candy straws as a treat, and made sure to make us feel welcome with our (slightly hangry) toddler.

One of the best meals I have eaten in a while. They were out of my first two choices, but that did not even matter.
I will go out of my way to get this again when I travel through southern Oregon again
