Matsukaze 松風, meaning 'Wind in the Pines' - is, to me - without doubt - the finest restaurant in Grants Pass. It's opened three hours a day during the week and 3.5 hours on Saturdays for a reason: that's all the time it needs. Always good food, and always good service, can't go wrong going here.. might have to wait at peak times, but worth it. My wife's favorite place to eat in town.. I miss the Friday night sushi...we have eaten here more times than I can remember... Best teriyaki you will find hands down!
Been in Grants Pass 7 yrs before wandering in with some visiting family. My only regret is we didn't go in sooner. Food and service is out of this world. Rare you can say that about both. Especially in a small town
