Wanted breakfast but, they do not offer a veteran discount nor even a senior coffee. Always slow and dinning area not fresh and clean. Sundries, napkins, and all is locked away behind the counter which means another wait to their attention to a waiting customer. Finally this Grants Pass is privately owned, along with several other locations nearby going south on I-5. It is company policy to not offer a veteran or a senior discount. When asked shift manager flatly said no discounts. Other stores all offer a discount, especially for Veterans.
Where has customer service gone. With the Kiosk, it would be faster to order at the Kiosk, go make the meal and leave the money on the counter. AI apparently is here now at these privately owned locations. No longer fast food andworse service.

I ordered a Deluxe double quarter pounder. I started eating it and then noticed something chewy and weird, I pulled the object out of my mouth and it was a paper patty separator, a whole piece in my burger and unfortunately I ate some of it before I noticed. I am not sure how they grilled my burger, assembled it with tomatoes, lettuce, sauce and then wrapped it up for me without noticing that there was a piece of paper inside. Is it to much to ask that we expect to be able to eat our food from restaurants and not have inedible material inside? I usually trust the places I that I go to eat and I do not take the food apart to make sure its safe, I guess I cant trust this place anymore, although after eating paper at this location I will not be returning.
I called McDonalds and of course the guy I talked to was buttering me up and swearing up and down that this situation would be escalated and someone would call me. Can you guess what happened? Yep, you got it, no one called me back and its been 10 days later. Typical of most customer service these days, they tell you someone will help you and then they never call back. Its because these big corporations don't give a damn, they gladly take your money but when there is an issue, getting a resolution is an arduous, time consuming, anxiety inducing and nearly impossible process.
Attached is a picture, btw the paper was inside the burger and none of it was sticking out, the burger was not wrapped in paper just to be clear this was inside and I had no way of knowing unless I took it apart before eating.

So this is a small restaurant with no beverage dispenser, napkins or condiments in the main dining area. Tables and floors were dirty and bathrooms were locked. No refills on coffee at this location. I'm guessing this is a bad part of Grants Pass.

The food was fine the service was not all that great the actress though they were being inconvenienced by us asking to use the register and not one of their kiosks there was another lady there that was very upset because her food took way longer than she thought it should too luckily we weren't in a rush but it did take about 10 minutes to get served

Service is the slowest. Go to In and Out or anywhere else. It must just be this McDonald's because I never had to wait for ever for just a drink. You guys have to do better.

Ordered 10 sausage egg McMuffins so I figured it would take awhile longer to get them.. didn’t expect to wait 25+ minutes.. only to get back to work and realize that they gave me 10 ham and egg McMuffins.. so I called them and the lady was very unhelpful and argumentative.. horrible experience.
