River's Edge Restaurant

River's Edge Restaurant isn't just a great place to eat, it's not a surprise this is my favorite restaurant in Grants Pass. From the stunning Rogue River views to the consistently amazing food, everything about this place feels thoughtfully done and welcoming. Every meal here is memorable, and the quality never misses. A huge thank-you to our server, Eyden, who truly elevated the experience. She was kind, attentive, and made all my cocktails wishes come true. She made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish. Service like that makes a great restaurant unforgettable. River's Edge is the kind of place you keep coming back to — for the food, the atmosphere, and the people. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in Grants Pass.

The apple salad was delicious and large enough to share. The seafood pasta with crab, scallops and shrimp was delicate and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the live music and relaxed atmosphere.

This was our first time here. We came to celebrate our 39th anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everything was great.

The staff was AMAZING! The service was AMAZING! The food WAS AMAZING! The staff was always right there all the time checking on us, making sure everything was good and if there was anything they could do. They had live music which was GREAT! The song choices he was singing was perfect for dinner. My wife was happy because every song he sang was on her play list. We have been here several times, 2-3 times a month and we can't wait to go again. I would like to say everyone needs to go here but that would mean I may not get a table lol. Enjoy if you do and tell them Paul and Peggy sent you. You'll be treated right.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We were there in the evening so we didn't get to enjoy the river however, our seating was right up against the window. We absolutely got to at least experience the evening moonlight shine off the river. The duck and prime rib were fantastic. Healthy servings.. The wine and cocktail list were diverse and delicious. A must order is the cream chocolate parfait the chef makes the Chantilly cream from scratch... I also want to give a big shout out to the guitar player. He brought ambience to the whole experience.

I understand it was New Year's Eve. But they obviously overbooked as many people with reservations waited more than 30 minutes past reservation time. Some got tired of waiting and left. You could also tell they were short staffed. The poor very busy waitresses were taking care of customers and bussing tables. Food was very good, waitress was outstanding!

The server was exceptional, and frankly, at least for me, was the saving grace of the experience. The cook obviously didn't know ‘what'a bit past medium' was. Even after 2 tries my steak was barely medium rare (still mooing in parts). The cook needs to be able to cook if you're going to charge premium prices. I can't in good conscience recommend going there to eat.

Great steaks. My wife is GF and they were happy to accommodate her. It was dark when we had dinner i want to come back when it is light to see the view. The food and service was terrific.

Our waiter was superb. Blackened ahi and the trout were amazing! The smoking old fashioned was the icing on the cake. Will come back again!

The food was perfection. The service impeccable. The sounds and view of the river, mesmerizing.

Outstanding location and view of the river. Friendly staff. Tasty food but prices seemed excessive. In Nov. 2025.

River’s Edge is one of the best spots in the Rogue Valley for a business lunch or casual meet-up. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive, and the food was even better. Great atmosphere, beautiful view, and plenty of space to actually have a conversation without shouting. This is definitely a go-to local spot we’ll keep supporting. Highly recommend.
