Another fine dining experience of a delicious meal paired with delightful wine. We had the salmon, which is always cooked to perfection, and a NY Steak special with an innovative twist on mashed potatoes. Caesar salad with house-made dressing that is the perfect balance of creaminess and vinegar. House-made foccacia bread ties it all together. The Vine always satisfies my foodie pallette.

Today was my first time going to the Vine. It took 1 hour and a half to get a dish of mushroom fettuccine and lasagna. There were four tables who got their food before us and we were there prior.

It's not what it once was. But it's probably more than you'll get in a year from now. The food is very tasty, although slow and room temperature. Service was very slow and lacking in help. The server was trying her best. Perhaps it was just an 'off night'. That shouldn't matter when you pay the same whatever the night. It is the only good Italian restaurant in town. Others are just pizza+ Sad situation. The atmosphere isn't the same. Something has changed, but not sure what. I'm just glad there is a place to go and order Italian.

My husband and I had dinner at The Vine last night. It was fabulous. We had the steamer clams which were delicious. The Caesar Salad with anchovies was an excellent recommendation. The Calamari was, by far, the best that we have ever had. Besides the food being wonderful, our waitress, Darienne, was top notch. She was attentive, knowledgeabl, and the sweetest gal ! We can't wait to return!

I used to get take out from them frequently and tonight, I was saddened by what I experienced. After I called and ordered, they told me it would only take 10 minutes which is fabulous. When I picked up my food and took it home (I live less than one minutes away), it was ice cold and practically inedible. I called the restaurant to let them know about the situation and whoever I spoke with just replied “well, sorry”. A super bummer.
