I accidentally came in 30 minutes before closing and was going to leave so they could get out on time, but they insisted I stay. I'm so glad I did, everything was delightfully delicious.

A truly wonderful and memorable night. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was welcoming, blending elegance with comfort in a way that immediately put me at ease. The staff greeted me with warm smiles, and some of the nicest drinks I have had. Thank you for the experience.

Ooof, where to begin? This is the first time I have been here and I was so deeply disappointed I felt the need to write a review. When I arrived with my friends there was hardly anyone there so we expected much better service, but it was the complete opposite. The waitress took our order, and that was about the only time she came to the table until the food was brought to us over an hour later. For having 1 other table to wait on, I'm surprised it took so long to get food. Mind you, another couple left shortly after we got there because the service was that bad. Our burgers sat under the warmer for awhile and after a couple bites, it started to get cold. The fries on the other hand were delicious - that was the ONLY good thing about this entire experience. I got a burger with sprouts and avocado, but my burger didn't have the avocado. A bit disappointing as I paid $18 for a burger that was cold within a few minutes, and didn't have all the items on it. At minimum we should have received some sort of apology or check-in for the extreme delay in receiving our food or a discount! We had to beg for our check, as again, the service was TERRIBLE.Later that night and the whole following day I started vomiting and had extreme symptoms of food poisoning. I would bet that they didn't properly wash the sprouts on my burger or the kitchen wasn't cleaned. All in all, horrible experience! Skip this place and go to the Bohemian.

Whoever bought this restaurant unfortunately seems to lack passion and any experience. Quite a few other restaurants that have better food and atmosphere on the same street. Would have been better off keeping it as Circle J's... Even with subpar food at least it would have had the great atmosphere the previous owner had.

Room for improvement, but we might give it another try someday...The atmosphere is great and the service was good, but the prices were a bit high for what we got. For example: The kid’s meal price was fair but there’s a surcharge of $4 for lemonade- which comes in a little 12 oz cup. My kids didn’t get refills because they’re toddlers, so we spent $8 for probably less than 24 oz of lemonade. Adult fountain drinks are also $4- which is silly. ($2-$3 for iced tea would be more reasonable.) The sweet potato and swirly fries could have been fried longer because they’re thicker cut. They also needed salt. (I prefer a thicker sea salt on the sweeter fries.) We ordered the shrimp appetizer for a whopping $12! It came with 7 small shrimps that were overcooked; The dipping sauce was very good though. Portion sizes for the adult meals were OKAY, but left the stomach wanting more (even after having the little shrimp appetizers and popcorn at the movie theatre just before). Also, the kid’s macaroni and cheese was undercooked. It was paired with very little cream sauce that was lumpy and lacked creaminess. We were the only customers on a Saturday night, but the food took longer than it probably should have. (We had a table of 4 with one adult meal and two kid’s meals.) Also, my son’s salad was in the window for a good 10+ minutes before we got the rest of the food. It would seem that the cook should start by cooking the harder foods first, and the salad last. Maybe if the prices are adjusted and the food was slightly improved, this place will be more supported by the Grants Pass locals.Ps. I really wanted to try the pizza but, again, the high prices steered me away.Kid-friendliness: Nice little kid menu, but beware of the $4 lemonade upcharge!

After dwelling on this for a couple of days, here we go: Sadly, the food was mediocre. Entrees arrived before the appetizer. The soup was tepid for the first 1/2 inch, then lava below. The bbq pork on our app was cold (which tells me it was most likely ready before the rest of the food) , but the flavor was good, so it wasn't a total fail. This was also the first time I didn't polish off a cocktail and switched to a fountain drink instead. It feels like there is potential there, but the execution is poor all around.PS. The bench seating is horrible. The seat portion is at a backward angle.. I noticed several people struggling trying to get on their feet from an angled position while simultaneously trying to squeeze in between two tables. One such person ended up running their bum across the other guest's table. This generated awkward glances all around ?With such great places within view of this place (like Food Studio across the street), I don't think I'll be back.**no disservice to the server - she was lovely.**
