We stayed in Halfway 2 nights as part of a 5 day road trip.Lucky for us this place was open and we arrived about 1/2 hour before closing. We sat at the bar for dinner. Ely, the bartender, was absolutely amazing as our server and bartender. He spoke so highly of the people in Halfway and about how much he loved living there. The food was amazing! Stopped here this afternoon and had lunch. I had a cheeseburger and fries... one of the best I've had. My wife, a vegetarian, had the wrap with fries, and my buddy, a vegetarian, had the garden burger. Our waitress was very personable and served us with a very fun spirit which made our meal that more special. Food was so good we got a desert, an apple fritter to eat there and took a carrot cake home. Kudos to the manager who came by to say hi. We definitely will be back....
This was a great place in Halfway Oregon where we stayed while exploring Hells Canyon. The food was great and the service was great too. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and it had enjoyable atmosphere.
