Waited for over 20 minutes just to get food and when ordering I specifically asked for pancakes to be LIGHT not dark brown.
They came out burnt twice and the waiter said; cooks don't speak English so it's hard to get them to understand.
Sorry but as a paying customer this is not my issue.
This was a rare occasion of a horrible dining experience
The place looks fine. Food is just not worth the price, you could probably make better at home. Jr. breakfast plate came with not even a half an eggs worth of scrambled egg. Waited way too long to even be acknowledged in the wait to be seated area with about 4 other parties, and they weren't even that busy. I don't write reviews often but dropping $45-$60 for 3 people, mediocre food and bad service just isn't worth it imo.
Family gathering. Good food. Nice environment. Very friendly wait staff.
Great Breakfast on a super busy mother's day. The Servers were very kind, and for it being so busy, the dining area was kept clean and the food was so good. Thank you!
Nice place for brunch.. I just don’t like black coffee which didn’t have any flavor.. overall everything looks great
Came here at about 11:30 am. My friend and I were starving. We had never been there before. The food was amazing! The service was friendly. Will definitely make it back soon.
Service was best thing about this place! Food was ok breakfast food!
My mom's favorite place for biscuits and gravy
Worst service ever!!!!!
I have always frequented the JC and Aloha locations for years. I have NEVER had an issue. This was the first time I have ever been to the Happy valley location and I will never go back.
The host was super polite when arriving but once we sat down the vibe changed drastically. The waitress was super rude, made annoyed faces and talked to us like we were dumb. I asked for an Avocado Benedict, when I let her know I didn’t want any sides (hash-browns or potatoes) she repeated herself thinking I didn’t hear the side options and gave the rudest look when she realized I only wanted the Avocado Benedict. I also asked for coffee with the cup only half full (which I didn’t get) when I asked for an extra cup the host (not the waitress) slammed it down on the table.
Not once did our waitress come check on us in the whole meal, we had to get up to get boxes and pay the check
I was also in the food service industry for 20 years and I can totally understand when a restaurant is short staffed but the horrible customer service from our waitress is unnecessary especially when the clients are actually nice and understanding.
Food going down hill service not far behind. Square potatoes are not supposed to shatter in your mouth. Breakfast burrito is junk take that off the menu very drippy and soggy. Salsa was worth maybe 3 bites so order 4 cups of salsa. Never got a refill until the bill came. Went to pay and was told by the person my phone number wasn't in their system I had $10 off but. After eating there for 5 yrs my phone number hasn't changed. Yes I'm still coming back. I'm used to the service being bad and getting better on down the road but the food usually is very good but this time it seemed like we got the last of what we ordered The fruit it was slimy and very tart.

I used to absolutely love the Johnson’s creek location, so when I moved to the area, I was excited to try this one. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it is a result of the pandemic or just this locale, but it is a shadow of the JC one.
The food is mediocre, and they no longer have a selection of jams. Their signature biscuits were dry, and the staff can be best described as disinterested. We came in and waited up front as several staff members walked by without even saying that someone would be with us shortly… they didn’t even acknowledge our existence.
Is sun the whole meal up by saying “it was fine”, but I expected better.
Great place.to.go.for breakfast
We used to love coming in here but lately we have had a hard time enjoying the great service over the noise and comotion coming from the kitchen staff, it doesn't seem like anybody back there is doing anything but telling obscene jokes in spanish
The food was well priced and delicious, I got the eggs benedict. Seongsu gave excellent service, he was very attentive and thoughtful.
It was a good meal. The service staff was stretched thin. However, they were pleasant and worked as quickly as they could.
