⭐☆☆☆☆ Review for Dave & Buster’s – Happy Valley, OR I came in with the kids and ordered the Power Combo ($19.99 meal + $5 Power Card) along with three sodas — all the same size. Here’s what happened: • First, all three sodas were rung up at $3.99 each. • Then, two of them were adjusted down to $1.99 (kids’ price), while mine stayed at $3.99 — even though the cups were identical and no refills were taken. • When I questioned this, the excuse given was “one is an adult drink and one is a child’s drink” — even though all three were the exact same size cup. • Senior Manager Ryan Hall claimed he “comped” my drink, but the receipt still showed charges for three sodas at $1.99 each. To me, “comped” means $0 — not still being charged for all three! • At the end, Ryan kept insisting I had only purchased one Power Card, when I clearly had two. I pointed it out while the receipt was in his hand, and he snatched the receipt from me and never gave it back. • His solution? He told me to “deal with corporate.” Well, I am. I’m already working with a customer relations rep named Ashley, who knows about this situation. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was argued with, gaslit, and eventually kicked out with the kids before they even got to play. Later, security came back with $5, which felt like an admission of fault, but Ryan still doubled down, denying what the receipt clearly showed. Overpriced food is one thing — but dishonest pricing, flimsy excuses, taking my receipt, telling me to deal with corporate, and treating families this way is completely unacceptable. Do better, Dave & Buster’s
They have some amazing arcade games. However I didn't try the food.

Well..we went in 100° weather and their air conditioner was not working properly. Our $65 cake ended up melting due to the heat. We were given 2 wrong meals which was never corrected. We were overcharged and I waited 45 minutes for a receipt since I knew something was wrong. This was our first time there I took my twins for their birthday and I was not impressed. Wish I could have enjoyed the play area with them instead of waiting around for the server.
Server was very nice, but excuses about what management allows were nonstop. Server took order quickly, but then 20 minute wait for a beer, restrictions on what kind of food and drinks we could order (advertised offers in menu not valid), sticky floors, no (or weak) air conditioning, beer that somehow tasted worse than anywhere else, forgotten items, a questionable replacement for pitchers that gave (no joke) 90% head each pour. I went next door, got a drink and food, paid, and returned all while our group waited. If you have kids that want to play games, set your expectations. If you don't have kids, take your birthday parties and events somewhere else.

Every time I go here it's so dead and it's like my server forgets that I'm there it takes forever to get service and food is never worth the wait

We usually like going here however the past few times we’ve gone it’s been very hot in the gaming area. This time we had a rough time getting drinks and I was shocked to find out that my public school math did not teach me how to find percentages correctly after paying the bill on their handheld card reader. I thought %20 of 27.84 was $5.56 but the card reader said $8.60?

We were 15 minutes early- waitress was not available-they said they were bringing on someone for our group -someone brought us water - waitress showed up at 1:10 - we wanted to order appetizers till our food came - they brought it out with our food!! Very loud!!! Food was good
It’s gotten so insanely expensive: that it truly doesn’t make sense anymore. When including the “pay out” gifts. Also insanely not worth it.

It’s a place with lots of video games so the atmosphere is what it is! I come here for the games! But they are super expensive! I decided to eat some wings too—I regret it! $15 for 8 wings…tiny & late…this place could do so much better:(

Fun, but EXPENSIVE. Good treat every once in a while. Food is good. Drinks are good. They took appetizers off happy hour so thats disappointing. Staff is nice. Games are fun. Some old and some new. Ticket payout compared to prizes is low. But nice prizes.

Have been going here since they built it, very very fun environment, and seating is usually easy to find. Making reservations is also easy. Also, the people that work there are very, very kind all of them in each department, giving you their attention and the help thats needed

The team working there are great. The service and the kindness from each of them was appreciated and made the experience even better.
My son chose for us to go to Dave and Busters on his 11th birthday. We had a blast! Plus, it was half off games Wed! More fun for the money!
He had always wanted to do a human claw machine and we were so happy to find they had one he was able to do!
Happy kiddo! Great birthday! Memory making experience

They disrespected my kid. This is a 1 star baby casino. Get ready to drop 300 bucks and get this.....
UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW.
Got a cookie cutter corporate response from Dave and Busters. Let these clowns be the busters. 2 hours in this joint you can buy 2 day passes to Disneyland. If you got kids go to chuck e cheese, go to a local arcade. Go anywhere. This place is gross.
