Le Petit Café Happy Valley

Got her at 3:30 in afternoon. They have a drip coffee on they’re menu but apparently not available at 3:30 pm have to go with a Americano plus for $4 they can offer real half and half not from small plastic cups

Highly recommend Le Petit Cafe. It’s well known for a welcoming atmosphere, quality food and drinks, and consistently great service.

Made an online order (square) and somehow the order went to the Portland location (Square website is not really mobile friendly). Staff was amazingly nice after I realized the mistake. They were able to make may food anyways even though its was clearly pretty busy with over 25 people there. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. 10/10

They will treat you differently based on the color of your skin especially the manager at this location even though she’s clearly Hispanic with a heavy accent she will treat people that look like her worse than others. No wonder this location has a very low rating , maybe they need a new manager. Their coffee isn’t even theirs it’s “nossa familia coffee” . Cascadia cafe is a lot better and it’s only a block away if you’re a POC definitely skip this place.

This place restored my faith in Portland bagels! The ingredients were fresh and the coffee was strong and tasty! Great service and the place was super chill on a Sunday morning. Will definitely come back when we’re in town again!

The food is genuinely delicious, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. It’s like they’re taking care of you as if you’re at home. You can really feel that extra level of care in how spotless and neat everything is.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experiences in hopes that the owner can see what's happening.
This used to be one of my favorite spots for breakfast, but over the past few months the quality and service have noticeably declined.
On my most recent visit, I placed an early morning order for two Luxe bagels and a cappuccino. The order confirmation said it would be ready by 8:20 AM-plenty of time for the staff to prepare it before my daughter arrived to pick it up. Unfortunately, when she got there, our order hadn't even been started. Instead, several other customers were served before any attention was given to our order.

When the food finally came out, it was very disappointing. The bagel wasn't toasted, and as you can see from the photo, the presentation and quality were far from what you'd expect for a $15 bagel. To make matters worse, the cappuccino wasn't even ready we had to leave without it, come back later, and by that time I was already behind schedule dropping my daughter off at school and she was late.

All in all, I spent nearly $40 for this order, and the experience fell far short of what it used to be. I truly hope management takes note, because this place once had so much potential, and l'd love to see it return to the quality and service it was known for.

Great little coffee and pastry spot in Happy Valley. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. We had lattes and a raspberry cream danish, both excellent. It’s located in a large food truck pod, so seating is more open and casual (think cafeteria style) rather than booths, but the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. A solid place for coffee, pastries, and hanging out.

It’s a shame the service leaves much to be desired - it feels like I’m causing them inconvenience just by asking for a coffee lid, which they don’t provide along with the drink right away.

I ordered a veggie bagel with no cheese, so what did they do? They used a cheese bagel. I cant eat that so I opened it up to eat the veggies from the inside and they were all old and browning. The avocado was brown, the tomatoes were mushy, the mushrooms were browning (and also not portobello mushrooms like it says). Everything was mushy and gross. I gave atmosphere a 5 star because I didn’t go inside.

Multiple times have been told it’ll be a 25 min wait for 1 iced vanilla latte. Starbucks it is!!

Got a croissant BLTA on Doordash and it was very indulgent-so yummy! The croissant was buttery and flaky (lightly toasted). Could have used more avocado but hard to complain as it was overall a delicious experience.
