Food was okay. Atmosphere is nice. Service is lacking. Not one smile from Saturday dayshift staff and the hostess was super unfriendly. Friendliness makes a huge difference to me. Probably won’t be back.

Friend and I stopped in for a weekday lunch and were blown away by the fast service and delicious food/cocktails. Our food came out quickly and steaming hot. Plus the fried ice cream was perfect with a large enough portion to share. The patio seating was pleasant and indoor decor is nice, I would love to return during dinner hours sometime.We had crema enchiladas, elote, queso, fried ice cream, Jamaican marg, and piña colada. Would absolutely recommend all.

This was the last time we will be visiting this establishment. We have been fanatics since the restaurant opened; however, last night was literally the worst meal I have had in ages. I cannot, with absolute honesty, even say if the meat in my steak tacos was even beef. It literally tasted and had the consistency of fatty pork pieces,with major emphasis on fatty. I ate at about 6:15-6:30, and by the time I left and was nearly home at 7:15-7:30, I spent the entire night suffering in the bathroom. The couple we were with were also unimpressed with their meals and they too said they will not be back.

Service is great atmosphere is awesome carne asada was very bland had no seasoning, bacon wrapped jalapeño appetizers were absolutely burnt / way too spicy to enjoy have been here about 3 times now, only thing I enjoy are their drinks.

the food here is GREAT! but for whatever reason the staff is never friendly? maybe we’ve just had bad luck the 3 times we’ve dined here. but the BIGGEST problem for us was no changing table for babies in the bathroom. there is a giant empty space on the wall that could easily have a changing table installed. I had to change my baby on the filthy floor, that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time? anyways, the food is our favorite but we don’t get to go as often as had hoped because of these problems that could easily be mended.Dietary restrictions: items are labeled if they’re gluten free! love this!
Horrible. I ordered pork fajitas. They gave me dry, cold pork and a pile of rice and a pile of lettuce. They forgot the sour cream, the quac, the veggies, the tortillas. And it was ice cold! When I talked to the manager he did not apologize & came up with one excuse after another how this was somehow my fault.

Came in today with my cousin and ordered two Paloma’s and two orders of chicken tacos and one order of shrimp tacos , even if the drinks were 24 each that only makes it 111 . I was charged 165 with a 15 dollar tip . I didn’t check the receipt and didn’t notice till I got home .hoping I can call tomorrow and get it sorted out . Otherwise the food was great
The food was excellent. Our waiter was super nice and very attentive! We had a party of four and I made a reservation a few days ahead of time. Table was ready and all of the staff were great!

Seemed very disorganized. They first tried to put a party of 7 on a table top of 4 and we were all crammed in. We had to ask for an additional table. Service was slow on simply refilling our water Or brining plates or chips. The food is descent but the price seems be on the higher side. They seated us out in the bar are that is enclosed but still outside and we were all freezing. We had to ask for them to turn on the heaters.

Mezcaluna Mexican Restaurant has great food and I like their decor. It is located at the Clackamas Town Center so sometimes parking can be difficult but we usually find a spot within a few minutes. I recommend going early to avoid some of the parking issues. I tried the margarita flight so now I know exactly which ones I like the best: passion fruit / mango and the other one is guava. Prices are a bit higher but so is the quality. I had the chicken fajitas and there was plenty for leftovers and it was delicious. Husband had the taco dinner and loved it. There is an employee who makes the tortillas on site. I also saw guacamole being made to order at a few tables which we will try on another trip there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

As a Texan living in the PNW for a few years now.. the hunt for Mexican food (up to Tex-Mex quality) has been a challenge. Some places are okay but none have truly scratched that itch quite like Mezcaluna. First of all, they offered free chips and salsa which is not common in Portland. And the salsa was actually very good! I would say what I was most impressed with was how quickly the food came out. We were only there for 15 minutes and received our appetizers, margaritas, and entrees super fast. My only slight complaint would be the prices but the food was really very good and my wife and I will definitely be back!

We love this restaurant and so we came as a group to celebrate a few birthdays. I felt that the service was a little slow for a Thursday evening. Took us a long time to have someone come and take our order and to get our billed paid. But I had let the restaurant know ahead of time we were celebrating birthdays and they seem to have forgotten and I had to let someone know which was kind of annoying. While I appreciate not being rushed through the experience, we also had a toddler with us and he was needing the evening to move along faster than the service we received. That being said, the meal was delicious as always and the staff was very friendly and eager to assist when we brought things to their attention.
