I've gone here more or less since they first opened. At first, their prices were decent, slightly larger cups for a slightly lower price, but of course, within due time their prices for raised and the cups became slightly skinnier.
Since the food hall in Happy Valley shut down, this is now my favorite for both taiyaki and boba regardless of it being rather pricey. Their Taiyaki is still delicious, and their boba tea, albeit pretty sweet, still tastes good.
I can't say their service is as good as their food however. You don't really get greeted with a smile, let alone with anything other than a less welcoming question asking what you want. Despite being a local, small business, they don't feel welcoming nor does the place give off a comfy atmosphere, and the poor service certainly doesn't help.

This was tough to rate poorly. BUT here’s why:
Service: wasn’t there. No smiles, no chatting, no hi how are yas, just “what would you like”. Then gave me a nasty side eye when my lady picked no tip.
Two drinks and two tayaki for $19. Bit pricey.
Drink: okay, not good though. Sweetness at 100% was INSANE. I was literally chewing on sugar coated boba. There was a layer of sugar on the bottom of the drink no matter how much I mixed it was there. There was SO much ice. I barely had any liquid and ran out before finishing even half my boba. My lady said the crystal boba is really good, but the drinks are not. There was powder stuck to the lid and inside, it was sloppy.
Tayaki: bomb. Batter is right on point. Flavor selection however bummed us out. They only have sweet flavor, no traditional savory flavors except custard. No red bean or sesame.
Sit down: meh. they have a cute seating area but again.. meh. Nothing really saying “hey! Sit down and enjoy!”
Wont be back. Fine for a local joint but if they weren’t in a neighborhood I think they’d be gone with any competition.

Love that my nearest boba shop isn't that far away. I've never had a bad tea here, and everyone is always friendly. Definitely recommend.

drinks are delicious, nice setting, could be cleaner
Great place, good drinks, relatively quick service, and a beautiful wall covered in flowers! Lots of good drink combinations. And the workers are always friendly. It's family friendly and has plenty of seating. And it's not out of the way -right next to Sunnyside.

Tried the honeydew milk with lychee popping boba and the tiger sugar milk. The tiger sugar milk tasted better imo. The Nutella Fish Taiyaki was absolutely delicious. Will be back for more.

Avid goer to squish tea and I love their taiyaki fish. It was 7:40, more than an hour before closing time with only 2 other people sitting having their tea, I was the only person in line. I wanted to get an order of 4 boxes (20 fish) for my family, the worker says they can't make me that much. I asked if maybe they're out of ingredients but he said no, its because they're "so so busy right now." I was willing to wait even though I was the only one ordering but that was not an option, he said I can only get 2 boxes. It was upsetting but I would rather have some than none. He was done with my fish in less than 5 minutes and no one else had even come into the store. I was the only person in the store at this point and they had no other orders to work on. Once I left they just got back to chatting and chilling on their phones. It's upsetting when you're willing to give your money and business but they just don't want to work. This is the second instance a similar situation has happened so now I feel obligated now to leave a review.

Litzy and Ashley are amazing. They provide amazing service and always have a smile on their faces. Give them raises because this is what customer service is all about!

This is a nice place. However pistachio soft serve tastes like regular vanilla ice cream. And employees seemed distracted when making my daughter’s order (which took about 10 minutes for a boba tea). Soft serve chocolate has great flavor. They were out of two flavors of ice cream they had listed on the menu.
