I came to play pool (free on Sundays) and had a few drinks with a friend. The loud music was not to my taste, but for a dive bar, it was okay. At least the drinks were poured proper.
We had a great end of our bachelor party here! There were a couple of pool tables that are free to use, and drinks are well priced. The bartenders were kind and quick, which we really appreciated. It seems like a very community oriented bar, but in a positive way (very welcoming).
Cozy hometown bar. Very friendly staff. Huge selection of flavored Jello shots. Most drinks reasonably priced. Excellent food. Housemade ranch dip that is dynamite with the beer battered fries. Highly recommend this establishment. If anything this cozy place gets better everytime I return. Today, 4/15/2004, I revisted this wonderful establishment, and my expectations were more than satisfied. The duty bartender Nate is an old acquaintance, and his skills at cocktail preparation...
