Very hospitable hosts. We loved the live music and atmosphere!
I’m in love with this place! Johanne and John have turned this lodge into a beautiful destination, with a lot of heart and a knack for being welcoming hosts as well as being awesome people to know. I felt completely at home, had everything I needed and I can’t wait to return!
We popped in to check out the lodge. The owners were great, and the atmosphere was cozy! The wood fire was going, and we all had a great time. We're looking forward to enjoying the outside patio when the sun comes out. Thank you for the hospitality!

Idleyld Lodge offers a cozy and welcoming retreat for travelers on their way to Crater Lake. This historic 100-year-old lodge has been renovated with clean and comfortable rooms, creating a charming and nostalgic atmosphere. The friendly host, Joanne, is known for her hospitality, welcoming guests with delicious banana bread upon check-in and providing helpful hiking tips. The lodge is in a great location for exploring multiple waterfalls and is close to a convenience store/gas station across the street. On Friday nights, it transforms into a lively community gathering, where guests join the owners and locals for a potluck-style dinner and drinks at the on-site bar. While WiFi may be limited, everything else is wonderful, making Idleyld Lodge a highly recommended stop for those fishing on the North Umpqua River or exploring the area. The lodge's unique and enjoyable experience is further enhanced by the warm atmosphere and supportive hosts.
