Had a pretty bad experience here. Was very excited to come visit after hearing so many good things. Spent good money (over a hundred) for okay drinks and over priced bar food (for 2 of us).This place is beautiful but not worth coming back to. There isn't enough space to share my experience here, but I haven't felt that targeted and disrespected in a long time. Very disappointing.

My wife and I decided to eat dinner here before catching a movie at the nearby theater. I had the Rodeo Burger with onion rings. Burger was a 1/3 pound seasoned patty with BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, onion ring, lettuce and tomato. I decided to add bacon for $2. The onion rings were the battered kind and came out nice and hot and fried to perfection.My wife ordered the chicken strips with tater tots. It came with 3 huge chicken strips and a good amount of tots. Everything was piping hot, so it was obvious the server was on her toes and did not let it sit in the window.Speaking of the server, she was attentive and routinely checked on us and kept are drinks filled.The atmosphere is how I would picture an old saloon. Long bar with various liquors showcased behind. The dining room features floor seating as well as a balcony above.

DONT LET THE POSITIVE REVIEWS FOOL YOU !!I really do not like the owners of this place they allow them having a business affect their ego and how they treat people. I use to like coming here a lot for the karaoke and then they just stopped doing it. The food is good but you can go to another bar and get the same quality but cheaper. Now for my main complaint. I went in there ordered food and drink. I am normally responsible I pay for my tabs everywhere I go this is the first time I’ve ever actually just walked out. It was a total accident. the bartender didn’t ID me nor ask for a debit card to put on file for the open tab. I do admit I smoked some weed and had a drink. I called her and told her hey I never paid for my tab I am going to pay it. I was a honest person and I did the right thing, some time has passed because I didn’t have the money to pay for it after all my expenses where paid a couple of days later. Well she found me over Facebook and she doesn’t know a thing about me, she came off really acuistory and tried to blame me for it. I have never seen a bartender not do their job, this place is super disorganized by the way they have handled this situation. It’s the bars responsibility to make sure that everything is paid for and they take a card on file. I’ve been into plenty of bad bars. I will not go out of my way to come to this place. I only go there for some of my friends. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They only want the money. They do not care about the service or how the business is ran. I’m gonna tell my friends and family not to come here I’ll spread the word.

Our first, and only, time here. We researched new places to eat for a fun date night. Drove over from a neighboring town. Ordered a hamburger, specifically told our waitress that we wanted the meat to not be pink, to cook it all the way through. She responded that they only cook the meat to one temperature - we told her that was fine as long as the meat was done and not pink. She told us it would be done. We received our meal, bit into the hamburger and it was very pink in the middle. We couldn’t get the attention of the waitress, and she never came back to check on our meal. My husband was so hungry that he ate his, but I couldn’t eat mine, I simply can’t eat uncooked meat. The tater tots were good, lightly crunchy and tossed with a seasoning. We liked the wood paneling behind the bar and seeing the brickwork behind the paneling. If you like your hamburgers cooked half pink, then you will probably like this place, but don’t expect them to fully cook your burger even when specifically asked to do so.

The mixologist/bar keep, Frank, is an asset. I was not impressed by the food. Henceforth, I will probably go for social drink, and make sure to grab some grub before heading into the Golden Hop Saloon.

My wife and I had turf and surf, The steak was cooked to perfection the prawns were to die for, the vegetables were great as were the mashed potatoes. The down side was the waitress. Taking our order she was looking at her watch, then, once she brought our order she did not return to check on us until we were nearly finished, probably 20 minutes later. Then once finished she came over and asked if I wanted another drink or our check. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert, or just a drink, but a choice of a drink or leaving. Incredibly rude.Now if it had been really busy I'd understand, but instead she was visiting with the other staff or looking at her phone behind the bar. Now, if I'd been out for a $40 dinner I might be ok with that, but this was a date night with drinks that could have been a second round of drinks, 2 desserts, and a much better tip. I still tipped around 18%,much lower than my usual 25, which would have been pretty nice if we had spent another $35 or so.... Just saying. Top notch food, our server, not so much.

Earlier this month, we had our baby shower here and it was a wonderful experience. I absolutely recommend this spot for events, brunch, dinner, or just to grab a drink!First, the owners were very easy to work with to reserve the space. They let us use the entire loft space from 11 am to 3 pm. We got there early to set up and could decorate as needed. Once our guests arrived (we had around 30 people join), we provided brunch to our guests with a no host bar. The brunch was delicious! We had a variety of diets in our group (vegan, gluten free, vegetarian) and everyone found something they enjoyed. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and got us everything we needed.As a very pregnant, expecting mama, it was so nice to have everything go so smoothly for me, our friends who planned and hosted the shower, and our guests. Plus, the owners and staff seem to truly care about the people they are serving. Go support this local business! We certainly will be.
