My wife and I had dinner here on my 71st birthday. I had the most amazing lasagna and the best glass of chianti! Since it was my birthday, we also had the panna cotta and the tiramisu for dessert. Our waitress was the best!
The hostess was our server and she was very sweet and tried to be attentive but she was the only server in the entire restaurant and got busy. The food was not good at all. My shrimp scampi sauce had decent flavor but the shrimp was way overcooked and rubbery. The Alfredo sauce of my husband’s pasta was disgusting. We waited forever for our food and then our kids had to wait at least 10-15 minutes longer for their food. The marinara sauce was over reduced and too salty and the meatballs were undersalted. The bread was dry. Overall would avoid at all costs. Do not recommend.
It was the best original Italian food we had in the Salem area! If you don't live in the area, it's worth the drive!
We had a great experience! The food was amazing and Elizabeth was wonderful! I highly recommend
My bestie and I had a delightful evening out and enjoyed the baked pasta, fried ravioli, cannoli, cheesecake and to top it all off Italian sodas. But not just any Italian soda, we enjoyed them in wineglasses! Every sober gals night out dream! Ifykyk 😉
Would highly recommend our super attentive server Elizabeth! Will def be back, and making this our go to spot!
This restaurant is perfect.I went there with my 2 friends.Really great atmosphere.Really great service.
And the food was great.I really loved the italian Soda definitely would go here Again
We went there with one of our granddaughters. Our entrees were fantastic. We dipped the bread sticks in the tomato basil soup and loved it. Would definitely go here again.
Very good Seafood Alfredo. They were out of the first dish I ordered, but I was happy with the alternative. Bread also very good. Tomato soup was great. Whoever is adding the salt is using the optimal amount. And they have the oil and balsamic you always like to see.
Our server Elizabeth was an absolute angel the entire time (even making us AMAZING mango pineapple mock tails). The food was excellent, and we didn’t have to wait very long on the food either. Overall I’d highly recommend!
I'm usually not one to complain. I could've made better at home, working late, just grabbed some dinner. Caprese extra tomatoes to mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, not glaze, just a sliver of basil. Not exactly price appropriate. Lasagna had good tomato flavor, had meat, but was prefabricated texture of some off brand meat, not all fresh ground. All in, not key fresh ingredients. Not a scratch kitchen. Not surprised weren't busy, also surprised they're still open after the last years. Good to the general public that dont know better. Not impressed as a professional cook. Italian menu, but if craving good Italian, suggest looking elsewhere

Met our nephew and his mom there for dinner, first time for us and I must say the food was good. The place was busy but we were not rushed. Everything we had was very good.

I’ll be brief. Don’t eat here. Starter bread was frozen, insanely salty and just overall not good. Calamari however was decent. Main course: linguine pesto was a large gummy ball of cream sauce. Tomato’s and artichoke hearts were poured straight out of the can. My wife’s dish, pasta classico I believe it was called, just a bowl of olive brine water. To wrap it all up the whole experience took 1 1/2 hours. Wait staff snickered as their patrons had terrible service and they knew it. Our waitress however was great. You could tell she’d spent all night apologizing, and taking money off checks.

This was one of the strangest Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Cool historic building, but very off-putting musty smell (maybe the resident ghost?), seemingly covered up by air freshener. There is no aroma of Italian food of any kind. The food was okay. The service was good at first and then as the dining room emptied, completely neglectful. The best part of the experience was the tasty bottle of Italian wine and good conversation. I will not be returning.

It took a very long time for us to get our food. Then when we finally did there was a hair in our food. The waiter said “shut up!!!” after being told there was a hair like it was something to be sarcastic about. The bread that was brought to us tasted moldy. The food looked terrible and after seeing the food and the hair in it we chose to leave and not eat here. It’s also way overpriced for the quality and amount of food you get. The building itself has a very strange musky smell. It does not smell like an Italian restaurant. I would give 0 stars if I could.
