Edit: I had originally given 5/5 as I usually have no issues, this was my favorite place to get pizza in Independence.
The last piece of pizza in ours had a tiny nail in it! My family shared this pizza with me. I can't imagine if my daughter had accidentally ate it. Luckily my husband did and immediately spit it out. I did call them to let them know as im sure this was an accident - I can't imagine otherwise. The lady did not seem to have a response when I called to notify them. Hopefully the cause is found and doesn't occur again. I truly do normally love this pizza but this has me a little wary.

More than just pizza! Behold the Sancho Dog; hotdog with a pizza bun, bacon, fresh sliced tomatoes, onions, cilantro with a drizzle of ketchup, mustard & chipotle sauce.
10/10 must try!
The dough is the same delicious dough they use for the pizza cooked golden brown to perfection.

The BEST PIZZA IVE EVER HAD. I'm a pineapple on my pizza kinda gal. They surpassed my expectations! I wish they were open more often, but I totally get why it's just the weekends. Thank you for such a phenomenal experience. They also have a menu for our beloved pups!

I took my girlfriend out for the Saturday $13 meal deal (individual pizza, salad, and drink) and the food was AMAZING. The salad was a quaint starter that, while a bit light, was very clearly made with all fresh ingredients. The ranch included was great, and the freshly chopped jalapeños were a great option. The pizza - oh lord the PIZZA! I got Mario's pizza, and my girlfriend got a classic pepperoni. You can tell that someone made the dough that day! And it was baked to perfection - a crisp crunch with each bite, but a soft center. The sauce didn't have a strong flavor, but that was to the pizzas benefit. Mario's pizza has various meats on top (just how I like it!), so they were the most prominent flavor - and that was 100% to the pizzas benefit. But, when it comes to the peperoni, it was clear that the simpler option highlights the excellent quality of the cheese on top. Both were great options to have, so going with a classic or trying something new is a matter of what you want because both are great options. The staff was also so friendly and absolute sweethearts!My only critique is due to the nature of Sancho's being a food truck. We went on a Saturday night, which meant that it was cold outside. The only place we could find to sit were the benches next to the truck, which had no heating. Luckily the warm pizzas help keep us an okay temperature, but aim to go before sundown if you can.The ladies there told me that the $13 deal will be happening every Saturday, which may be dangerous to my waistline! But at least it wont' be too bad for my wallet. If you like pizza and want to try it out, stop reading this and go try it already! =D
