Skippers Seafood & Chowder Monmouth

The food here is great. Pam, the owner takes pride in what she does and you can tell. I have had most of the menu items and it has all been good. The Clam Chowder is the best.

We love getting chicken or fish with a loaded baked potato and cole slaw. Delicious, hot and the servers are very nice.

The service here is good and the staff is friendly. There isn't anything exceptional about Skipper's, but it's good for fish and chips and a bit of nostalgia. The food and chowder are consistently good and have been for as long as Skipper's had been around. It has an all you can eat option, which is nice and the prices aren't terrible. I go here often enough and I will definitely be back

If you live in Monmouth it's worth stopping by for a bowl of clam chowder. This restaurant is cozy and inviting with its friendly staff. It's just too bad that the Skippers of today are not the Skippers of their more prominent days.

Service is outstanding! If you remember Skippers when it was good this is the place to check out! It really is telling that these owners care about doing things right. Affordable fish and chips that are great. Wish I was closer.

Gosh I miss this place in Eugene! Worth the travel, loved the drive to Monmouth.

This was a second visit for me and both times the food was great.This Skippers is in an older building but it has charm, it's clean and has seating indoors or out. There are tables for 2 or 4 and there's enough room for pushing tables together if you have more than 4 in your group. Restrooms (2) were clean. Parking is on-street or in a lot in back.

Clean facility, tasty food, and friendly staff, I could not ask for more. So good I travel from salem just to get my shrimp hookup.

Skipper's is always great! Never had a bad experience! Great staff and delicious food. Just stop changing locations moving further away from Salem/Keizer area lol.. cute building now. Always get the Skipper's platter combo.

Just as good as can be for borderline fast food. The fish is tender and flaky and full of flavor. The prices are about average. It doesn't take too long to get the food after you order. Better seating could help but overall really good food.
