We had a wonderful meal last evening. All of the dishes were exceptional including the rabbit, duck, short ribs and filet mignon. We started with the Brussels sprouts and the calamari and the fries. They were all exceptional and got our taste buds warmed up. We followed with several beet salads that were all exceptional. The main courses were all perfectly prepared with wonderful sides. We finished with their chocolate cake dessert with some perfect port. We will definitely be back soon!

Rooms: The room was fantastic. Very comfy setup with self check in rooms. The bed was very comfy and the aesthetic was quite pleasing.Walkability: This place was right in the heart of Jacksonville and walking distance to most places in the area. We didn’t have to take our car anywhere once we got settled.Food & drinks: The restaurant was quite amazing. We got the crisp duck and the rabbit gnocchi. The duck was fried to perfection and this gnocchi was some of the best I’ve ever had! Their drinks were also amazing. We were helped by Michael, Dani, and Justin. All of them were so thorough and kind. They made our experience above and beyond. Also, Heather at the Wine bar was the sweetest! So pleased to have met everyone here!

The Restaurant at Jacksonville inn. I would not recommend them as I waited 45 minutes for soup and salad to arrive, then after another 45 minutes and being asked twice if we had received our entrees (no), we left. This was thanksgiving, we had a reservation and have since had no contact to offer a refund or apology. My impression was they were disorganized, and ill prepared. Diane

Wow. Absolutely just ... Wow! Even if you can't afford it every night, make it an anniversary or holiday spot! Everything was awesome!

Had dinner there last night at the new restaurant. Food was excellent but expensive. The staff/bartenders were great but were all stressed. We felt management style might be to blame for their stress. Had a gift card they would not honor which was very disappointing. Most likely will not return.

Have had their Sunday Brunch under the new ownership a couple of times, once out on the patio in the summer and once indoors during winter. It is one of the best if not the best brunches I have ever had. However, be prepared to wait for at least half an hour because there are only two servers, and one of them is an owner. She was not friendly, never smiled, was aloof and cold, and set my plate in front of me without a word. The drinks are very over-priced. Ordered a Mimosa, the champagne flute was only half full with a little bit of orange juice and a splash of Champagne - for $9.00. The food was excellent, but dining experiences are often rated more heavily by the quality of the service, that's why the two stars.

Service by one of the owners was absolutely awful. She was so full of self pity and nervous and rather insulting. Beyond this, the food took over 30 minutes to come out while we waited another 6 minutes for one hamburger order to come out. We were a party of four and the only ones on the patio at the time with the restaurant not particularly full. Then the over priced bill for mediocre food was the final insult. It's sad that this former Jacksonville landmark has slumped to all time lows. Not going back for any reason.

First time in a while since new owners/management. My wife and I had a great time! Extremely impressed in all aspects. I recommend trying this eatery.

Customer focused, location is spot on for downtown walking. Hosts are attentive. Will return despite queen bed sleeping and limited parking. Small negative: one King bed in the place. Need to book early to secure that room.

My wife and I went to try out the new Jacksonville Inn on Saturday the 30 of September. Reservations were for 6:30. We arrived and found the restaurant mostly empty on a Saturday night which should have been impossible?? We got seated in the bistro. There was one other couple there having wine. They left shortly after we arrived. The clams were great the soup and salad were poor at best. The main course was good as well. The service was great as were the drinks. Here is the problem as a whole the meal was just ok. The cost for what we got was deplorable. Bill was $228.00 with tip $263.00 now I would not have minded that had the meal been the best I've ever had but it was far from that. The only reason for two stars was the service which was great as there were no other customers to speak of. There was good reason for that as well. Maybe it will improve but.
