We ordered the Big Kahuna and the Katsu. Bother meals were well portioned and tasted good.
Food here is great. Just every time we want to go it is closed. Drove way out of our way today because it was supposed to be open till 8. Even though the cook and waitress were in they failed to post that they were closed. Another disappointing ride, had planned for 2 weeks to go today and finally make it on an open day. Call first to make sure they are open.
Greeted on entry. There were seats available. Probably seats around 30. Needed a private table and was allowed to set it up. Offered a drink, got ice tea with lemon. Nice decor, fun little things to look at. Was told the specials and ordered the Big Kahuna - teriyaki beef and chicken, kalua pork, cabbage, rice, mac salad. Liked it, would order it again. Great place in Jefferson!
I took one of my granddaughter's to eat there for lunch. Service was great and the authentic Hawaiian food is amazing. We ordered to share the Tsunami Garlic Fries made with Sambal Aioli, teriyaki sauce, green onions, and furikake. It's a meal in itself and even sharing, a lot of it went home for others to enjoy. My granddaughter ordered the Mochiko Chicken made with chicken battered in sweet rice flour, fried and tossed in a light house teriyaki drizzle served with rice and mac salad. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Plate chicken marinated in house teriyaki sauce served on a bed of cabbage with rice and mac salad. I'm so glad we opted for the small plates because they were huge! Quite a bit went home from those as well. The ice tea is fresh and delicious. My granddaughter opted for a diet soda, which they serve in a can but also give a cup with ice. My only concern is the handicap accessible bathroom is a bar on the wall near a very low to the ground toilet. Someone in a wheel chair would have an issue dropping down to use this and then getting back up onto their chair. I am disabled but mobile. I will be having knee replacements and had a very hard time as I can't pull myself using the bar with my left hand/arm (disabled with several psoriatic arthritis and deformed hands/fingers.) I'll still return. The food and service is worth the drive for me.
Not a whole lot to share. Never made it there. Called them on sunday morning to find out what they serve for breakfast. They said go find them on facebook and I suggested they put their breakfast menu on google. They hung up on me. Won't spend money there. Good job on the name starting with "No"!
What an absolute wonderful surprise! Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff. Scrumptious food. Fantastic prices. We will definitely visit again and again and again.
Place is ono. If you don't know what that means. Look it up. Amazing friendly and loyal to the traditional hawaiian foods. I think my favorite part is that they don't mainland it up. Basically, eating plate lunch here, is like having plate lunch on the islands. Very much recommended.
Excellent service and food! This business does not discriminate against those of faith or those with disability.
Thank you for allowing us to celebrate my moms birthday here tonight. Only place she wanted to go for dinner was here. Much Mahalo’s from my Ohana to yours! HANDS DOWN BEST HAWAIIAN FOOD AROUND, AND SERVICE!
Good food and service, they serve island food as well, I like the green bridge burgerThey do not serve beer.
Restaurantji Recommends
??? good food and service!
Hawaiian themes and food options made this a pleasant surprise. The food was great and they had very friendly staff and owner. Brought some sunshine daydreams to my morning. Would definitely go again.
It was a nice friendly cafe. The price was very good food was excellent. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
Kinda upset I couldn't place a to-go for dinner because they where going to have a large party coming in (sounded to me like they hadn't even arrived yet). I have 3 sick kids and just needed something fast and there's not a lot in town food wise that's close plus its freezing outside. Super disappointed. (All I was gonna order was one steak and some veggies to split with the kids) not like I was asking for a lot.
Coming from that private party, the food was amazing and we had the whole place to ourselves. I'd suggest eating there if u get the chance
