Nice, clean spot to eat. Friendly staff, quick service. Big portions.Had the chicken fried steak special. Crust on the outside was delicious and crispy. Real mashed potatoes, and the clam chowder is chunky, creamy, and delicious!

We have lived in Grant County for 14 years. Tried this place 14 years ago when we were looking at homes for sale. We were disappointed then, but last night it was even worse.I ordered the special "10 oz rib eye with 3 shrimp with 2 sides" 32.00. Medium with salad and baked potato.Husband ordered burger with onion rings.It took 45 minutes for food to get to the table.My steak was so over done I couldn't cut it with the knife provided. Rubbery and it was gray in color. My potato was only half done.My husband's onion rings were cold and his bun was soft a squishy. The burger was lukewarm and undercooked.They were out of most of the sides and only 1 dessert in the case.We wanted to give them another chance...Needless to say we won't be going back.Service was good....but wow do they need a better cook, or at least one that knows the difference between medium and Rubber.
