Great place ,great food ,Nice owner stopped here to eat after getting stuck in a blizzard this past winter highly recommend!
We stayed in the RV Park for 2 nights over Labor Day. What wonderful, friendly and helpful people!! The first evening we had bacon burgers and tater tots that were so good!! Decided to have breakfast the next morning. Best French toast and chicken fried steak ever! Final evening I was going to BBQ but we opted for the bacon burgers again. Service was fast, even when they were busy. very reasonable prices too. Oh, and the black cherry milkshake was to die for!😊 Thank you so...read full review

Rome Station is a back country joint serving delicious breakfast and great burgers. The chef manages everything from taking orders to cooking, ensuring a great atmosphere with a comfortable picnic/country vibe. Prices are reasonable for the location, though some may find them a bit high. Limited parking is available for truckers, but there is ample space to pull off the road. Generous serving sizes are a highlight, and the lunch is so filling that some diners have no need for dinner. The menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options such as omelets, pancakes, burgers, chili, salads, turkey clubhouse sandwiches, chicken club sandwiches, and fried chicken. The restaurant also offers a cafe with an outdoor dining area, and nearby amenities include a motel, RV Park, gas station, convenience store, and cabins. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area, including nearby sites like Leslie Gulch and the Pillars of Rome. The food is prepared quickly, with well-liked items such as grilled chicken breast and fries, along with delicious cookies and a thick huckleberry milkshake adding a sweet touch. The bathrooms are outside and may need some attention. Located on Hwy 95 in Jordan Valley, near the Pillars of Rome and on the way to the Owyhee Canyonlands, it’s a reliable stop for fuel, food, and rest in remote Eastern Oregon. Rome Station is more than just a restaurant; it’s a station stop where travelers can get gas, diesel, beer, and limited snacks. They serve up a fine cup of hot coffee to many wayfaring strangers, making it a fun spot for travelers to fill their tanks, enjoy a meal, and stay overnight if needed, with friendly small-town service.
