Glacier Ridge Grill & General Store

The food was good, the service was great! We had a lovely dinner out during our last night camping at the lake. Portions were reasonable for the price. It's definitely walkable from the campground. We went on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner and had no problems getting a table. If you have pets, their outdoor seating is pet friendly. You are right on the corner so there is a lot of road traffic but we didn't find it too disturbing.

Went to restraunt with my wife ordered drinks a sandwich and butter noodles, restaurant was not busy. Waited over an hour and still no food. I went to the register and said I was going to pay for our drinks and leave and was told they were just about to put our food on. I said no thanks and a young brunette waitress with tattoos on her legs had a tantrum, she was not our waitress and extremely unprofessional. This place was honestly the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Very disappointed.

we had some great meals here and great service in 2024. and I'm looking forward to eating there next week when we rent a cabin for a few days

I think some of the people with bad reviews on here are just self entitled
appearently they don't realize where they are. Not the city. Obly 3 peoppe work there at a time. If you wxpect fast food, go to a fast food restaurant. Oh wait, there isn't one in the county. So maybe realize where you are and dont ruin someones business name because you are impatient. Great food is worth waiting for. I found great food and even better service.

So unexpectedly wonderful! If you’re in the area of Wallowa Lake, make this a stop!!! We entered with low expectations and were completely wowed. Lovely outdoor patio on a pretty day. Service was exceptional by Megan who happens to be the daughter of the owner. And honestly one of the best Rueben sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. Light bread, delicious corned beef, all of the things you hope for but next level. And my dining partners’s sandwich, Hawaiian chicken, was delish as well. *****

Stopped by for an order to go, customer service was fast and reliable. We received our order promptly at a reasonable time. Would recommend to anyone. Satisfied with our visit.

First stop on first visit to Lake and town of Joseph, camped 3 days. I asked questions about area and seasonality. Staff made snide comment about my questions within earshot of my girlfriend. Otherwise a cute general store and what appeared to be a nice bar and restaurant. Bought some jewelry on second visit. Posting this for owners benefit. Tourism is your reason for being there…

Groceries, ice and sundries with a bar and grill next to Wallowa Lake and the State Park! Happy to be customers for years...

We were in town for 4 nights and ate here 3/4 nights but wished we had eaten here all 4 nights (I do not recommend Wallowa Lake Lodge's restaurant). I'm pretty sure the smoked tri tip gyro is going to haunt my dreams... it's sheer perfection. They smoke all their own meats and they're damn good at it. The service was also so personable and attentive.
