I originally saved this place for breakfast but we ended up coming for dinner first. Drinks were awesome. The seasonal autumn mimosa was great. My boyfriend's steak was perfect. I got the broiled salmon but it was more like boiled without the R. It really lacked flavor and was a little tough with no signs of being broiled. It said it was served with rice which i don't like but was going to give to my boyfriend instead. But then found out after that they were serving it with mashed potatoes instead. Which i would have loved to know before I would have just upgraded to loaded mash. I got my salmon with shrimp and ended up eating that instead of the salmon. It really needed lemon or something but our server gave us our food right after we were served or salad and didn't come back til it was time for the check so I didn't get the chance to get any lemon for the salmon to eat it there. Breakfast was really good when we went back. Eggs were cooked perfect. The Hawaiian roll french toast would be better if they used the Hawaiian sliced bread instead. The rolls were a little too thick for the small amount of batter so it seemed more like a cinnamon roll without frosting. The bacon was a very generous serving size. I'd definitely come back and try something else though it was good overall.

It looks like a great place from the outside. Food was uninspired and just OK. My salad was some cut-up lettuce on a plate with an aged avocado to one side and a few previously frozen shrimp thrown on top. The redeeming factor was that the drinks were good. I'd call it more of a bar.

I ate there with my family. Most restaurants will inform you of a long wait, while this place had not spoken a word of a 2.5 hour wait. The steak bites were pricey with no sides. We did not receive all of our food or drinks while our other meals were finished. We ended up leaving, as we had things to do, despite not getting our full meals. We also had multiple problems, like they didn't give us forks for a long time. After all this, we did not even get a discount. I do not plan to eat there again.

Despite some negative reviews, we had a great experience at Slack's. Steak was really good, tender, cooked just right. The potato was good (hard to ruin a baked potato), and the veggies were outstanding. Server was prompt and attentive. Would go there again in a heartbeat.
Place was clean Staff pleasant. Drinks we on point, cold beer. Wife loved the harvest press wine. Food was fast, cooked right and super delicious. I had the steak sandwich with loaded fries. Super delicious. The wife had the farmer burger. It was huge. I got a taste. It was pretty good.
