Went into Stein Distillery on a quiet Sunday afternoon and got to taste many of the fine whiskey’s from Stein. Jon was fantastic and spent a lot of time explaining all the different whiskey’s and the process on how they are made. We learned so much! We really felt like family here. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Distillery! I wandered into thier tasting room in Joseph Oregon on a lark. John, the man behind the counter, greeted me warmly. He offered me samples and took me on a journey through the entire distilling process. It was a wonderful experience. I left with a few bottles, and a much greater appreciation for what it takes to make a good product. I will be back! Thanks John!

Quite the spot to stumble upon while in the area! We walked in and were told they offer 4 free tastings which was a pleasant surprise. My husband tried some of the whiskeys while I tried most of their sweet spirits. We chatted with the guy working for a bit before walking out with a bottle of the corn spirit. Very fun!

This is a fantastic distillery, and the distiller we spoke to was really helpful and informative! Be sure to try the cordials and wheat whiskey, which is both very unique and delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back again the next time I visit Joseph!

The people in here are always super friendly. You can taste the different drinks. We really like the cordials - especially the raspberry.They also have a good selection of souvenirs - flasks, glasses, coasters and probably more.
