There was a group of women that were extremely LOUD, not the Management's fault, but they could have told them to tone it down a bit. The food was excellent, though.

They had a great menu that was reasonably priced... Especially for a tourist town. The staff were awesome and the place has a great atmosphere. The meal was cooked perfectly to order. I apologize for taking bites out of my plate before taking the picture. BTW, my steak was ordered Med Rare and there was more shrimp than what is shown.

Highly recommend. I’m a city boy, and like my steak a certain city way. This place is awesome! Authentic small town food - and seriously good steak. Sourced local. I was served by the wonderful Ciara. She was great! I highly recommend this vibrant and spirited steak house for any wandering traveller.

Our servers were fabulous. Fun, friendly, and very informative, both for the menu but also the area, we were first-time visitors. The restaurant was clean, and the food was AMAZING! Plates were full to the point we had take home. Must go when in Joseph. Tomato meatball soup sounds odd, trust me, get it!!! Second night, again, wonderful service and great meals This restaurant has an awesome team. Also, compliments are from 2 old restaurant owners. My husband bought the chef a drink, and that is how good this place is. * Remember folks, the front of the house may be incredible to see and fun to interact with, but it is the back of the house that makes your food, cleans the dishes, and sets the pace for a successful service. Treat everyone as a team!

Had a terrible experience here. The food was greasy, made us sick and tasted like it was a microwave dinner. People were super drunk and rowdy and seemed violent. Overheard the owner of the bar and customers saying racist and sexist things, and witnessed drunk men being very creepy towards women at the bar, with no intervention from the bar staff. We will never visit this establishment again while in Joseph, it does not feel safe or welcoming, and the food was terrible, so certainly not worth drunken violence and racist/sexist behavior.

Exactly what you'd expect from a saloon and steak house. The food options were more varied than other places in Joseph, so we chose this location for dinner on a Saturday night. They do accept reservations, and if you want a table after 5pm you would do well to make a reservation. If you have a group larger than 4 people you should make a reservation regardless of the time of day.
Service was a little slow and our food took a long time to arrive, but it was hot and good. It took almost an hour from the time we ordered our food until we received it. The entire dinner took 2 hours and only 20 minutes was actually eating our food.
I think, like so many of these small communities, they are short on staff but in high demand, especially on the weekends. This Saturday night visit may have been a culmination of these challenges. Our server was visibly doing her best and we were in no hurry. People really need to be more patient and willing to give grace to those who are coming into work and doing their best. Because everyone here was doing what they could we are giving 4 stars across the board.
Our grilled shrimp dinner was good. The best shrimp dinner, not on the coast, is in Hagerman, Idaho btw. The garlic mashed potatoes were from really potatoes and we're excellent paired with the shrimp that were grilled in garlic butter. The broccoli had some seasoning on them in case you don't like them that way.
If you like live music, this place has it. Not every day but it looked like they have it some or most Saturdays.
