Amazing food. Apparently, the menu changes as do open times, depending on when the owner feels like cooking, lol. Lucked out when they were and boy, was the food amazing. Dog friendly and inside is an high-end product dog store along with the cafe. Random gifts too- I bought some Chaga purses.
They love dogs.

My husband and I love the Dog Spot! They have a delicious midsize menu that rotates periodically. Their food is always top notch and they have cute things to buy in the store for any dog or cat lovers.
Also, Chef Arion and Amy host small cooking classes in the off-season that are really fun! We always learn a ton and get to eat great food afterwards ?
Dietary restrictions: A lot of options for people with dietary restrictions or preferences - just ask!

I went in for some food. I got some broccolini type dish. It looked and smelled amazing. But there was some sort of little balls of seasoning they must of dumped in. It was covered in them. Just one burnt my mouth. I had to sift through them and was not able to eat the whole thing.
Only a couple of them are needed I think. They were horrible it was a different spice I had never had before and it literally burning my mouth

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Joseph. The food was the best food I've had in a very long time, and the owners were absolutely wonderful. Even if you don't purchase anything inside of the store (I don't see how any pet parent couldn't), I urge you to order some of the food!

Our overall stay in Joseph was absolutely wonderful. We camped at the state park and the last night we were there we ate at the Dog Spot. A quaint little corner store. Outside the storefront there are tables to dine and the inside is a pet store!
It's unique, but what truly makes the experience wonderful is Arion and Amy. Two amazingly kind people who have a great passion for what they do.
Arion is a skilled chef with 50+ years of knowledge in the cooking world. Amy makes the most wonderful desserts. Best cheesecake I've ever had in my life!
Arion made us Bahn Mi sliders and a seaweed salad. One of the most delicious meals I've had in a long time. It's a shame we aren't as local. We're a 6 hour drive, but I'd come back just to eat there again.
Thank you two for the amazing service and wonderful eats!

Thank you Amy for creating such a memorable lunch. The enchiladas were suprisingly delicious and the asparagus was even better. And topped off with a visit from Iggy. Was a very good day!We will be back.

Pet oriented boutique with an attached small eatery featuring international cuisine individually made from scratch. Excellent food, excellent shopping experience, excellent owners. Five stars.

My girlfriend and I love this small restaurant. There are usually a couple of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu, but almost every dish can be made vegan or vegetarian just by asking. The owners are knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian food and are picky about sourcing high quality products. They have a rotating menu every week and offer tofu AND jackfruit in place of meat for every dish possible. This week was a Chinese menu that had Spicy Spinach and Vegetarian Fried Rice on the menu, two explicitly vegan dishes out of a total of eight items on the menu - we also ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan with tofu and jackfruit in place of chicken. The owners are very happy to do that! UPDATE (Oct. 19, 2023): My recent visit allowed me to purchase a quart mason jar of their house-made vegan kimchi - OMG! So delicious! On my next stop I will be purchasing several jars because I ate this entire jar in a few days. Updated from previous review on 2018-12-30
